Such an awesome place. Bring your cash, order your steak sandwich and head out to the bench to enjoy it in the sunshine. Not many places left like this.

Come here for the eggs, that's all I have to say about this place. The art is fun, the coffee is decent and the staff are friendly and it just has a great vibe. They're still only charging $3.50 for a coffee which is unheard of in this city these days.

The pulled pork sandwich served with a side of crisps is amazing here and you can pay with Bitcoin - brilliant.

I am often here for lunch in the afternoon (menu changes every season) or enjoying coffee and wifi in the morning. There is no decaf option which is also a good sign.

Amazing stop on a Saturday morning. Leave your bike out front, order a Seven Seeds coffee and enjoy a smashed avocado. Be sure to sit out on the deck during summer for a beautiful breeze and end even better people watching. One of South Melbourne's best!

This places is absolutely phenomenal! They have the best of both worlds: strong coffee and great beans to take home (Pony is my favourite). Be wary of peak hours as the beards and lines can get a little overwhelming.

Harry & Frankie is definitely a sleeper in the race for Melbourne's best wine bar. It has a great wine list which has clearly had a lot of thought put into it. The staff are really friendly as well. Very happy with the pricing and can't wait until they expand their food options a little.

This place is totally hidden inside the Manchester Unity Arcade. Literally a hole in the wall, Switchboard Cafe makes one richest and creamiest lattes around. Their slow cooked porridge and fruit toast is also worth trying. Their service is friendly and coffee is made quick.

Super small space that serves phenomenal Seven Seeds coffee to the deprived suits of the city. Come here for take away only as it is standing room only. Perfect for your morning caffeine fix.

The best buttermilk fried chick I've had since moving back from Texas last year. It is also fast becoming one of Melbourne's go to places so get in quick and try all of the meat. In fact, this speak easy may have everything you could ever want - fried chicken, wagyu burgers, oysters, absinthe and a wonderful ambience. It might expand your waistline and credit card bill, but it's definitely all worth it.

Definitely the greatest little cocktail bar in Melbourne. Once you find this little hole in the wall bar, look right past the wine list and tell the bartender how you are feeling, he will find you a flavour to match your mood. They are also incredibly knowledgeable about their craft and will tell you the story behind every drink - amazing.
