Great place for a treat. It's a little on the pricey side but the burgers (including an unexpectedly awesome chicken option) are to die for, as are the potato gems. Super packed so get in early and have a play on the arcade games. Such a great vibe here.
This is a great little place in the inner west of Sydney. I always try to stop past here for a take away soy piccolo as there never seem to be any free seats. Awesome coffee.
When we arrived here we approached the bar and perused the menu, very please. We went to order and the bartender told us that 80% of the cocktails were no longer available. Not a great first impression. He then told us he could make anything our heart's desired so we went with the 'bartender's choice' and ended up with some gorgeous gin based cocktails. Brilliant.
Great service and ambience, could not recommend this place more. They just need to update their menus.
This is always my first choice of hotel when in Sydney on business. They're always kind enough to greet me with a bottle of champagne and an upgraded room with a balcony and sensational view. The room has all the necessary amenities for a good stay including a sitting area with couch, a large desk for work and a million dollar view on balcony to drink my coffee in the morning.
When I'm up in Sydney for business this is the first place I visit. Coming form a Melbourne coffee lover, Klink hands down does the best piccolo in the city (perfect with their banana bread).
While the building is a bit hard to find (it's actually inside the Gaffa Gallery), it is worth it when you get here.
I've come to Galleon a few times for the eggs benedict, just add avocado and you are set for the day. It's also all days breakfast menu, even better! More important than the eggs, the coffee is great.
There is nothing pretentious about this place (including the clientele, staff and music). Spot on for a great breakfast in the area.
There is a decent range but I have found the prices to be very exorbitant (even for the area). Worth checking out the weekly specials online before you go in to save some cash.
The meal sizes here are getting smaller every year. I dared change my order from a pizza to fish and ships - never again. Stick with the pizza and just enjoy the view.
I've found the service here is generally poor but it can be a decent choice for a quiet and cheap breakfast in the Southgate area.
This is my favourite place to come in summer (despite the hefty drink prices). It's situated right in the heart of the city which means it's perfect for a Sunday afternoon session in the sun with sangria and a few mates.
I am not a fan of this place. I ordered the Manhattan Burger, it came out cold over 25 minutes later (there was no line). Staff seemed okay but there are better choices in the area. Will not be back.
