This is an institution that has not changed its front shop face nor much of the inside in 50 yrs. There is a charm about that factor. Very European but serves Ozzie meals now of which I afforded a soup of the day which had good body and freshness in the leek and potato. I guess the winning factors are the coffee and the home made chocolates that are individual and inspired by many flavours of the world. Lots of history and a respite away from the chill factor and wind that blows up that main street in the winter months

This of course is a service. This is the second time we have travelled from Sydney for the work of the Dental team who run the day surgery. Daughter had 8 teeth removed under anaesthetic this time. Depending where you are on the list for the day, your patience is always tested but as a public facility, I must say how much the atmosphere professionalism and care and duty to attention of each individual has outweighed the pain and suffering. A really quiet place away from the business of the city hospitals but with ever available professional service available and not so long a waiting list to get into your surgery. I wholeheartedly believe this is worth the travel. All praise to the nursing team who led the way to good outcomes no matter how trying the conditions of someones recovery. Clean and easy parking and a great ride out of the city, Highly recommend this if you need to go there

Almost hidden but parking at the front for easy carriage to car. Really good quality. Of course fruit would keep a lot better in this climate but I also think that they source a lot of their product locally and just charge that little bit more. I would have bought a lot more if I had room but had been to many little home based food places in my day in the mts. I would go back here again as they impressed with the quality. I wonder if they are associated with the Faulconbridge store on the highway that sells same goods. Never the less, I was impressed with service and prices for such good quality

RUSTIC, almost a lost little shed amongst the apple trees and woodlands BUT OH SO real fresh with a long history. Had only cash to buy a 2ltr bottle of their fresh apple juice. A mixed blend but so gentle naturally sweet and clear. We tasted the pink lady apple and my nose just dripped with joy of the fragrance. I think a box was to be had for $12. This is a seasonal place and the orthenticity of the products is obvious from the knowledge of those who produce the jellies the apple pies the toffee apples pastes and oh so many other natural goodies. This is not a show piece of presentation but the product is as good as you will ever get for flavour fragrance and freshness. Worth every bit the drive down the narrow winding road.

When it comes to petrol I need UNLEADED not 10% ethanol. I follow taxi drivers to where they go because I know i will not get a bad lot of fuel. This is one of those places where many taxi cars fill up and I have never been found disappointed with bad fuel. I find it hard to get back out of this service station onto Wardell Rd to have to do a circle but when your 98% octane is 147c a litre as against 167c ltr at SHELL then I am about resourcing and giving my money to the fair play guys despite the petrol discount voucher for 8c off from COLES.

YUMMO!!! This place is exciting in such a busy and expensive atmosphere. Many were having whole snapper with chilli sauce we had grilled lamb in sour sauce and rice with spinach and chilli sauce and massama beef with very small potato but was delicious. Time was about 8 min to get into the restaurant and about same for food to be put on table and service was extremely good for such a busy place. Water was given frequently but the only problem is that it is not a place to go to and relax. The sound system engineering needs a professional to tone certain areas of the music and the business means that you have to talk above your self to be heard but for the prices, you should not complain.

The present owners have been around since 83 they tell me. I ordered a lunch special of Honey King Prawns and fried rice ($14). I was not impressed. This place is kept well, the presentation of staff is clean but it seems that looking in your eye is a bit of a problem. I did a take away with this meal and the rice was dry and the kingprawns tough. The flavourings were saltless but the honey sauce real and tasty. I would like to try other dishes and expect they are very edible but nothing to "write home about, " sadly

I have passed in and out of these family owned shops for years. The shop at Tahmoor has been around as has the camden store servicing many for our childrens school shoes. Fashion is not their strong point but shoes that do the job of servicing every day people for everyday wear is. The prices are fair and the specials baskets out front are where you can find some special items. If you deal with the owners then you get a clear indication of what you can expect if there are problems with your purchase. Over all, for convenience, my experience has been good over 12 yrs

This road is strewn with orchards and thank the good Lord, a beautiful day can be had if you wander up this path so close to sydney. In season this mixed orchard has beautiful fruit all be them seconds afte the market is saturated for filled. I have been coming here since childhood with many lovely memories of sitting on a swing under the orchard trees and having a bit of pie peach apple or berry with ice cream. So many changes and sadly not enough updating of public facilities and appeal has left this a secondary consideration BUT I would like to say that the orchard is still in good hands after 25 yrs or so and I would love to see this icon built up once again because it is situated on a hill with a vista and fresh air unsurpassed. Charity is still generous to the community from this place and the vairety of the orchard keeps it open for much of the year bar cold winter and early spring time

New face for an old place. Renovations have proved that the atmosphere has changed, the menu and cook have uped the anti and the environment is modern and streamlined. Had a charity night in one of the rooms, had the house pizza which was not heavy going and drinks and waiting services did a good job. There was a lot more to be explored so I and friends will go back mainly for the menu and the atmosphere and the quick safe exit to central station after work on Friday night
