Have visited here for years. Bought 3 glass jars for $10 which I saw in Myers for $25 up the road. It has a decent range of giftware that in my opinion is from basic to classy. eg; LSD vases at good prices and Maxwell Williamsdinner single pieces and sets at excellent prices. Find it hard to nail them down to a time for certain things that they usually carry but are out of. Worth a visit to see if it is in your liking. Good to be away from the hussle at certain times of the year as parking is fine in off peak hours

Don't want to be stuck in a box with a window hotel/motel????
Don't hae need of shops at your door??? Want somewhere that speaks luxury, beauty, serenity, quality at every turn??? This is it!!!!!!!!!!!> I cannot speak highly enough of this place and am a bit reticent to tell others because it is so good. $180 a night for class like no other. The loft entreates you to look to the skies, the food left for you to cook up in the gourmet kitchen shouts fresh local and loving, the architecture inside and out is classical sandston and woods to dream about, the design elements, the cook books to die for, the laundry, the spa, the sheets the cleanliness, the hospitable hosts down the track, the outdoor barbecue and pizza oven area amongst the fruit trees and thee sound of quiet. I dare you not to visit and be seduced by this lovely B& B.Best ever that I have stayed in and will be back for more if I can stop my friends and family from going there. Nothing to do but enjoy in any weather and lots of little towns up and down the road to visit but just enjoy, sleep and quiet yourself and breathe in beauty

Approximate cost: $180 pn per couple

Picture a secluded farm, wild flowers in the window outlook, a running river behind the house, kangaroos gently feeding their way through the grass fields around your house, another country manor close at hand but not too close, a warm log fire, some old fashioned clean furniture, plenty of hot running water, cows mooing occassionally and the tree branches hangind over the cottage and no one to disturb you and your thoughts. Town is spartan but who cares when you just want to curl up and smell the roses. More than reasonable tariff and breakfast available if you wish it done for you for a small fee. Wide open spaces but so lovely and off the beaten track in the middle of tassie. If you want quiet clean, farm like with plenty of gentle walks to refresh your soul then this is it. Liked it for two nights

Approximate cost: $126 pn

This review is for Burnie Maker' S Workshop, Burnie TAS

Did the 7 day trip around mid to eastern Tassie. Burnie is a world of discovery. This new makers workshop is bountiful in history and hands on craft workshops. I did the paper making class and enjoyed it greatly. Ozzie goods for sale, a picturesque place to have your lunch, some really alive folk who love to share with you, some amazing displays of giant paper models and parking easily at hand. No cost to go in but your choice to spend. Have a look for the latest exhibiitons as it changes. Art and sculpture in small quantities and worth the time. Really enjoyed this place

Well made little sweet bags. I bought mini marshmellows for someone with mouth surgery problems. Not to sweet and chocolates are just as delectable. Prices are not for the ordinary daily buy but as a gift presentation it lovely. Also found their products at the Pyrmont markets on sat mornings so popularity seems good.

I have bought from here for years. I like the fast courier service to my door and that is cheap for such. I also like to sit in and have a milkshake and a slice of the cake selection before I go pottering. I do not like this place in peak hour, just too cramped. I make comparison prices with say, DJ"S and find them nearly always a better deal. I like variety and quality for my gifts and while some foods are a bit expensive the other items in kitchen and dining ware and collectors pieces are very appealing. Great place to register for gifts for weddings. Wrapping service is good in the quieter moments

Open monday to saturday. Gelato cakes are a great alternative to ice cream cakes and will suit all tastes. Like this place for its price freshness and good service. Easy parking and constantly giving you an ear to your special needs.

Want to praise this egg business. They have had write ups in SMH telling us they run 400 chooks to a hectare not 20000 as some so called free range businesses do. I go to Everleigh markets in redfern in the carriageway old buildings on sat morning to source the eggs. They also are available at Beaches markets when it is on on Fridays. Eggs if fresh are seasonal and chooks do not lay as much in winter or when pullets are brought in, so don't be disappointed if you do not see them at the markets. An email will get you that info from the farm itself. I doubt if you will find another egg like these. I believe that the true seasons have an impact on the taste of eggs because of the variation in the food on the ground. These eggs are worth gold and I commend this couple who work to get us city folk eggs within days of laying. Eggs can be got in certain select shops but I like my trays on sat and my sunday scrambled egg treat. Support a good honest business for a reasonable price

Always get a pot of my favourite honey here freshly poured in your own pot. Long term business and so some great feedback on your questions. Have a small but good line of products in their field and I think a well respected business over a long term.

Simple fare. Love the wedges and sour cream and chilli sauce. Sit down or take away. No great menu but a sure bet for something fresh and edible as you pass through the town or if you stop over for a night there is accommodation behind this cafe and all things are reasonable and pleasant by my experience.
