Dropped in again after a while away. The oil used was not tainted by time or cheap quality and this to me makes a piece of fish worthy to eat. I choose a fresh piece of fish and have it grilled or at times fried. I find they know how to cook fish. The other fried foods are as tasty as frozen goods can be and cooked to crispness. Salads more than sufficient in variety but I stick with my fish and enjoy it each time I go to this place. Busy place on Friday nights so order and pick up is good.

Ok so this is a bit european in flavours BUT it is quality by a bunch of artisans in the trade. Long years have made these people very awares of their market and they stick to best and fresh. Veal is perfect, sausages real and flavoursome. Best to put in an order and pick up because they are just so friendly and not so big on display but cut as you wish off the bone. Prices in accord with quality but don't go there at christmas peak hour. Just order and get delivered or get someone to pick up. A good butchery but not for all meats. I would say pork veal and some mixed salted meats like bacon are their decisive signature meats. GOOD place if you are around that way

This review is for Venice Nut Roaster, Lakemba NSW

As far as I am aware this business is now called the nut roaster only. I have frequented here for some years. Owned by same persons for many years and is a mecca for all nations to enjoy varied dry goods as well as some deli produce in the form of olives cheeses oils juices small amounts of veg, refrigerated yoghurts jams yeastless breads but most of all the nuts are what you go there for. In high season there are few more fresher as they roast most on the premises. Cashews are not the small variety out of Vietnam. I love the arabic sweets macadamia nuts and the flavoured delights in nut mixtures. Very cramped high turnover most times of the year and well priced in the market place. Parking is available but at prime times a real problem.

Approximate cost: $16 kg for cashews

Now open in the STRAND ARCADE. This is something a little upper class. Suits those who don't want something without design from eye of a colour specialist and thoughts in mind for where the jewellery will fit for the best result. A trip here will test your fashion sense, your eye for detail and not so much your pocket although a bit more from the hip pocket to be expected. Go on have a look. I am never disappointed except when I miss out.

Every florist has a personal signature. I have used NADIA in this business for years from weddings to the latest funeral of my dad. A wreath of some proportion was done in natives and nothing more breath taking could have come. Prices are on par but this lady has a touch of class. If you wish creative to left field then go elsewhere in this business but when I specify what I want I am not disappointed. I do not order on line as I like to discuss my need personally so cannot comment on this side of things. Hard to park near this place in Elizabeth st

Updated now to include a coffee corner. Been going their for platters for small functions. Fresh and quality cold goods, specials on chicken all the time, quality sandwiches but would like to see some new breads but because deli is on the floor then I do not worry about cold meats so much. You could really make many meals out of this shop with food that is tasty and home like. Good prices generally. Good turnover so feel like more than me appreciate this place.

Had a lovely time early in the day for breakfast. Some new recipes would be great. This place is consistent in quality, a little crammed but right for bowral to keep warm at this time. Prices need to be more competitive but you will not feel disappointed, just missing the wow factor for me. Parking in Bong bong st is a pain and time is short so park up near coles or woolies. This place will continue to provide good value with access to books and old time visuals.

IN a burb that is full of pizza shops this is a little gourmet. I would like to see some innovation in bases and some more organic choices. Open nights mainly and enjoyable but needs more topping to make it a cut above

The cinamon scrolls are to die for. This is a treat of a place. Good quality and something very different to put on the table. They know their stuff and consistent and the smells are divine as you enter into the mornings Reputation precedes them and this a welcome refreshing change from normal cake fare product. Do an order for your special morning teas. Doubt you will find one who will NOT SAY

This review is for Bead Them Up, Ramsgate NSW

Find this place comparatively a bit expensive. The quality is good and the variety of beads and accessories well worth the look. Some good ideas of ready made goods available and all things in good order, no mess to go through. I am not an aritisan or a designer so feel the need for people to help me. Help available when shop is empty. Parking available easily around the corner and phone help available. Go to hardware store for tools and then come to this place for the beads.
