Have been heading to this family business for over 30 yrs. Never fails. What they eat you eat and it is more than pleasurable. Fresh selection in small numbers to keep things fresh. I order bream or deep sea perch or boneless flathead or good barra when bought in fresh. When its gone its gone. Fresh basic greek orientated salads but this family will give service next to none and cater for your needs and not waste your money on fatty soggy bits. If you are over that way then give them a go. Just reliable and mama is on top of her game always and the boys follow. That long in a business is the best reputation you can get.

OK folks. This is a treat. Belgium chocolate, art in chocolate, superb personal chocolate tastes. First used this guy to buy a rectangle with name of recipient and a greeting for just $4. Better than a card. Then we bought the chocolate high heels and the ladies bag done with natural dyes and some gold papers, set in lovely packaging. This guy is an artist as well as an artisan of his product. He is so obliging and given a short time he provides a beautiful personal gift for your special friend/family member. In summer you need your cool packaging when you leave but this place is very reasonable for such quality. Leave the paper cards and make it special with this guys love and gift for his craft in chocolate. Easy parking on main strip in non peak hours. Cannot recommend more highly

This place has its ups and downs. Depending on the day you go, there is fresh to next best. Prices are on par with say Harris farm for quality stuff and the cheaper stuff ( to get rid of quick is out the front). Bought box of lemons for $10 and half had to be thrown out in 3 days two weeks ago. They have other food stuffs in dairy and nuts. Over the road from coles so gives a bit of competition but would like to see some innovative marketing of local produce on certain days to give that sense that nothing is cold storage. High turnover beats availability in my mind

Used to live in Bathurst and made this place a regular. Went back for visit last week and had a glorious time seeing the updated furnishings and noting the particular new bits like gluten free and flavours and bases for ice creams that have been added. This is not just a place for summer. Lots of delicacies that will warm your bones. Just over from park and so lovely to camp there with your grand kids or just a happy couple who want something simple but so pleasant.

Approximate cost: $3 upwards

Been going here for 15 yrs even if I live long way down the track. This lady is amazing. She knows her business and gives customers what they want and then some. Had a group come in lately after dad's funeral. Had a private setting upstairs and platters delivered to the table with drinks from the great healthy selection. Because it is a deli, sandwich fresh shop, catering business and sit down cafe meal all in one you get what you see and it is variety for all and a touch of class with some hot foods done daily. Quick because this lady knows no other pace and always dependable on quality for price. An institution which the locals have spoken for over many years. Parking round the back and you can book your demands. Just reliable and never disappointing except when I cannot get my prawn sandwich because she keeps only fresh.

Approximate cost: $sand from $3

Took dad's goodies for sole and heel repair. THis guy knows his stuff. He will tell you if a shoe is worth repairing and you decide. If something is so comfortable as to give you another few years then this guy will make all things right. He is an artisan from the old school and does more and sells some european type shoes also. More than pleased to find this local good service. Shuts down for times during day so ring him as he is the only server. Good honest service

My experience was my nephews wedding on a balmy sat night late March 2012. Finger food, displayed and presented on trays to you with napkin. Every morsel was pleasant. A good mix of about 6 dishes some hot some cold pluse box of risotto and crocembuche to finish the night. Drinks served at bar and the setting topped off a wonderful night. Two prepared fresh the food and none were disappointed expecially the tappas type bits, fish and meat and vegetarian catered for. Pleasant experience if you like informality and letting the kids go in the park next to you till the sun goes down. A bit of a walk down the hill for the not so young but doable by most and wheelchair safe. Would do it again for the cost. Relaxing at weddings is my thing and this did it for me.

Approximate cost: $30 1+ per person

No hesitation in sending a loud YES YES YES for this business. Want a name on a cake there and then, YEP CAN DO? Want a special extra bit or something excluded in the design or contents of a cake, want a cup of quality coffee or some little eatable gift for that friend or just some friendly knowledgable service where they make the cakes not just sell them. Two other shops available for their goods but I go to the heart of the workshop to get my needs met. Would love to see this business in a beautiful surrounds so as to enjoy the fine fare. I do have reservations about the hot pies but nothing is without a french and loving hand especially the service as well as the product. Parking great and 8am till 5pm daily and 7.30am till 3pm sat. Just worth the drive from sydney and prices are more than gracious for the quality

Approximate cost: $27 for large cake on average
