This review is for Gado Gado Noodle Lounge, Springwood QLD

Our regular noodle bar closed down so we knew of this one through friends. Scrumptious food jam packed in a noodle box, I always get the chicken teriyaki which is packed with so much fresh chicken, loads of veggies and they use Udon noodles, not those scrawny thin noodles, the son loves their butter chicken. Friendly staff, especially the owner, she knows us by name now, she's such a pocket rocket full of energy, really friendly.

This was our absolute favourite especially because we don't like greasy fish and chips etc. They had everything in the noodle category, Chinese and pasta. Best tasting sauces I've ever had and the teenagers had their favourites as well. Have been going for years but unfortunately, it CLOSED down a month ago and relocated to Forest Lake of all places. Definitely too far to travel , such a pity :(

I popped into this place as I was in a nearby business, it was getting dark and I didn't fancy driving all over the place for a promised takeaway night. And gee I'm so glad I did. Have been going for a few years now and wouldn't get my takeaway from anywhere else. These guys know their stuff - the fish is really really fluffy and fresh, the chips are Devine (honestly the best I have tasted) and their burgers are perfect, not gristly like some other rubbish steaks we've tasted from other takeaway places. The main thing we like with the food is there is NO fat or runny oil in the containers or paper after cooking. Really friendly staff and other customers waiting always enjoy having a chat ... Definitely worth the longer drive

Found this place when I made purchases on Ebay a few years ago and chose to pick up the items. Endless endless knicky knacks for party fillers, lucky dips, kids toys, fundraising, jewellery, art supplies, hair products etc. Loads of cheapy items and mega cheap. The downside would be alot of items arent priced which I dont like as people can put any price on an item. And i learnt a month ago that I cant browse anymore, pity. Nice friendly staff....

Scrumptious is all I can say about this place. Everytime the family spend the day in Southbank Brisbane, we always have lunch here now. The meats are always moist (not dry like some places) and the chicken is devine yum yum. And the sauces ?? We've had the chicken, lamb and beef and all the meats just melt in your mouth. Always a busy place and the staff are such fun, always chatting getting to know their customers. They know our faces now and always make a personal comment when we return. Good customer service goes along way, doesnt cost a cent !!

Have taken my dogs here a few times due to work commitments etc. We have always had them in a Deluxe Room due to one having a major illness, was just nice for him to have a large indoor area to go to a chill or they would close off the outside area to force him to have a rest. Its located away from the suburbs in a bushy large area. All the other dogs seem happy when you go in there. The only thing I would say is please give the place a good cleaning. With the indoor rooms, Ive noticed the same food stains, same webs everywhere and the same dust piles. Wouldnt take long to maintain and clean the rooms regularly. Thats what customers pay for. Thanks

This review is for RACQ Roadside Assistance, Eight Mile Plains QLD

27 Apr 2013

Am now a Gold Member and fortunately I haven't had to use RACQ regularly, but it's peace of mind having the membership just in case. But last night we had the car etc all packed ready to head off in the morning to our camping grounds, I went to fill up the car and noticed a flat battery. It was 11pm so checked out RACQs website where they said they could change my battery 24/7. I rang and the lady said someone would be there within 45 mins which I thought was not too bad for a Friday night. But within 8 mins the RACQ car pulled up, ran a few tests, changed the battery, easy option to pay by credit card and he also found a problem from my previous car service where my mechanic left a hose undone. I'd noticed my car was running sluggish, but when he reconnected the hose, it's been great ever since. Very very friendly and helpful person, he was a lovely pleasant Irish man fresh from Ireland. Hassle free service, couldn't ask for anything better .. Thank you

This review is for Yatala Pies, Yatala QLD

19 Apr 2013

Yes who doesn't drive back from the Gold Coast on the weekend without bypassing Yatala Pies. They are definitely worth the drive even if you live a while away. They are scummy !!!! Good quality fillings and DEEP yes DEEP. Nothing worse than a half full pie with a sloppy base. There are so many varieties of pies and we love their chicken hot chips. And we always get a family apple pie to take home. You really need to see the pie to understand just how High it is. When I first bought one, I thought the pastry had just risen into an airball. but no, it was full of fresh apply pieces. It sits about 12cm high. Only negative would be please give it a good paint and/or revamp as the furniture is getting a bit run down as with the look. Besides that ... Yummy

Visited one of their shops when I travelled overseas so when I saw it in Southbank I was like wow definitely need to try. The chocolate, food and drinks are all the same as the Israeli stores but that's where the similarities finished. The overseas stores are way more organised and bigger. The lineup was so long, that was ok, it was the fact that it just never moved and we were about 22nd in line. After 15 mins most of the group ran over and got a table but we never got served until 30 mins after that. All the screaming and banging was just too much for my poor nana. It seems to be more popular with mums and the kiddies or teenagers. Not a place for a quiet coffee and chocolate unfortunately. Maybe if they had triple the staff like they do elsewhere, that crazy slow line wouldn't exist.

Can't falter this place but I've been told all Apple Stores are run the same way. What a buzz of a place this store is. My son bought me an iPad so went in there to do a basic workshop. The shop is huge with workshop tables everywhere where people (young and old) are trying out stuff or doing a class. plus I noticed staff are running around everywhere singing and thought it was a lovely gesture that staff all clapped and cheered when someone made a big purchase. My niece also had problems with her 7 month old IPhone that was shutting down all the time, so I drove her to this Store and they didn't even question her, the young man went outside and got her a brand new one. Talk about hassle free service. Was really nice to have a company accept that their product was faulty, apologised and replaced it "ASAP" now that's called SERVICE. Thank you
