We use David and May Cleaning Service. They charge a reasonable price, and have been completely reliable over the year or so that we have used them. We were referred to them by a friend and have been very happy. I'm quite fussy, but I never see any spots that they have missed.

Huge nursery with every kind of plant and pots etc. Be prepared to waste some time there. I went there to get pot plants for an inner city courtyard. The staff were really helpful, esp because I had no idea what I was looking for, or what would grow well.

This tailor was recommended to me by Collette Dinnigan for alterations to my wedding dress. I have had a few things altered there since (incl my wedding dress), the women who measure you up really seem to know about dress making. I have been really happy with their work. Not cheap, probably best for clothes that you really care about, not just for hemming etc.

This place is our second living room - it is a lovely classic local pub. Rarely too busy, can always get a table. The food is good - there is a nice restaurant attached to the pub, and the pub meals come out of the same kitchen.

Paddington Beauty Room is well set up and has a good atmosphere. They do the full range of beauty treatments, but I've only had a pedicure and waxing there. They do a great job. The only downside is that it's quite pricey
