We dined at many places over our wedding anniversary weekend and this surpassed expectations on service. Our waiter was really accommodating and just plain lovely. The menu didn't have too much to choose from, especially for someone attempting to avoid dairy. I couldn't eat dessert at all and was desperate. Our entre was delicious with raw kingfish (by memory). My husband had the chicken breast and I had the pork belly. Both were very well cooked and beautiful flavour infusions. The restaurant itself was strangely organised and the seating arrangement made converstaions with your loved one rather uncomfortable. We were glad to have come quite late so that those around us left, leaving us to dine alone and in peace. Our last qualm was that we purchased a $12 bottle of water from our waiter. Another waiter came and topped up our glasses with tap water without asking and disappeared. Our purchased bottle, although charged, was barely served and we didn't drink the tap water that had ruined our initial glasses of water. The cocktails were also not to standard especially for the $25 price tag. We did unfortunately forget to request our water be replaced or mention to our actual waiter what had happened, so the blame doesn't lie on him, but we kicked ourselves afterwards.

I really enjoy coming here for the simple fact that I can order organic food and not fear the added nasties at most cafe's/restaurants. I've tried a large variety of meals and havent been disappointed. The service is however, hit and miss. There are some really great staff and others that are unnecessarily rude. Prices are standard if not a little high. Live music on Friday nights is also a refreshing treat.

We visited here for lunch on our wedding anniversary with an entertainment card and were pleasantly surprised. We ordered cocktails which were beautifully presented and tasted just divine. Our mains were perfect. Bursting with flavour. My wife had duck and I had pork belly. We ate at many places over our weekend away but the flavours here were memorable.
On a down note, the chairs were rather uncomfortable and wasn't exactly five star service. We were told we had to wait for a table when more than half the restaurant was empty. The side of chips was also a small serve for $9 (from memory) I was expecting that they may have been hand cut but they were the same processed junk you would receive at an rsl club. Apart from that, we still adored those main meals and cocktails. They just need to work on service and scrap the improve the side of chips to something that compares to the quality of the rest of the food.

I cruised on Pacific Sun in 2008 and my whole family cruised the Pacific Dawn in 2012. They aren't the flashiest of cruise ships but certainly unbeatable on price. Shop around though as there is certainly almost always something to be found cheaper from different travel agents. We had an issue with rudeness of our initial restaurant waitress and were subsequently moved when we complained. Our new waiter was amazing, friendly, hilarious and helpful. If you aren't comfortable at your designated table, ask to move. It can really kill the cruise vibe being stuck in an unpleasant environment. Nightly dinners are off a selected menu with breakfast a buffet. There is a pizza restaurant on the sun, an ice creamery and a more refined restaurant upstairs. We were given a meal in the restaurant as a courtesy for our rude waiter that included everything from entre, dessert and wine. There are designated dress up nights. Island party night we purchased grass sarongs from Villa. We took our own outfits for western night. We dressed in cocktail dresses at dinner time. It was an amazing cruise. We will certainly do another.

This review is for Dandelions Rabbit Retreat, Box Hill VIC

Dandelions offers a rabbit minding service even for sick or injured bunnies. Bec (the owner) also rescues bunnies and takes surrender bunnies. She won't adopt to anyone. She really ensures bunnies are going to a happy home where they will be loved and cared for. We adopted our bunny a week ago and she went above and beyond for us. She gave us hay to start us off, litter and leant us a cage for inside. We will be using her minding service in a few weeks and also her rabbit bonding service to bond our bunny with a life partner. The retreat takes donations to help care for bunnies as the surrender and rescue service pays for all vaccinations, desexing and medication/necessary surgery from the very little funds they make from holiday care.

With the young girl at the counters recommendation, I ordered a mango curry. It was delicious! It came with fried pieces of chicken that were to be dipped into the sauce. Very yummy indeed. The service was good and wait time short. I ordered take-away so didn't see too much of the restaurant itself.

The restaurant itself is a normal take-away style with lots of seating crampled in. The service was friendly. Food reasonably priced. We tried the lightly fried coconut costed pumpkin (yum), rotti bread and two mains. A peanut one and another with cashews. They were both nice. Everything was good except the coconut rice. We could smell that it had coconut but it tasted just like jasmin, not coconut try at all.

I have to say I was a bit disappointed. It's a smaller centre than others and doesn't quite live up to the 'Eco' terminology. I was expecting lots of wooden type toys but it was another plastic wonderland. That was fine though. What really frustrated me was the attitude of the woman when I questioned the menu. I nicely asked what the chips were cooked in. I got a shock really at her abruptness. It was cooked in canola oil and we steer clear of any rancid or overly processed oils. After recovering from bruised confidence (and my tummy getting hungrier) I approached again to ask about the bread for sandwiches. She was even more abrupt. Her answer to what the bread they used was "bread" I had to keep digging "yes, what kind, what brand, ingredients?". She snapped at me and I decided I would go without and go to a little organic store around the corner afterwards instead.
They do have a selection of planet organic tea and coffee which was good but prices of all food was expensive. A sandwich was priced at $9.50 and the other mothers I was with weren't very satisfied with taste. It was a shame really. I'd been looking forward to finally checking this place out and don't feel it worth a re-visit.

The man that runs this shop is wonderful. I really enjoy his friendly approach and he is always good for a recommendation. I've started stopping here for lunch rather than going to a restaurant. They have a range of yummy vegetarian pies for about $5 and stock a good range of organic drinks. I also LOVE the Byron bay raw desserts. I'm a raw enthusiast and its terribly difficult to find anyone that sells anything raw apart from vegetables.

This is a Vegan/Vegetarian cafe in St Kilda with take-out facilities. I had my meal from the kitchen which was delivered on a massive plate with great flavours. I think it was the combination noodle. The also have take-away options in the front counter. There are no options for organic juices or drinks. The cafe also wasn't the flashiest but for price and taste, well worth a visit. I was surprised how much I enjoyed it
