The thing that remains in my mind most about our lunch at Gio's is the flies. Being open to the street and I guess, being so close to the racecourse, the flies were an issue. The food is average and the staff are not particularly friendly. There are definitely better choices on Racecourse Road.

I had lunch with a friend here recently and the food is excellent. Our waiter was knowledgeable and attentive and the atmosphere (on a week day) was lively and happy. Recommended for business lunches! Try tapas share plates instead of a main meal for a change.

I've eaten at Cafe Conti several times and the food and service have always been excellent. We recently held my parents' 50th wedding anniversary there and our experience was exceptional. The staff outdid themselves and were attentive and obliging. The owners too were attentive, friendly and keen to make sure we all had a wonderful time. The food was delicious! Can't recommend highly enough for group bookings or for a fantastic weekend breakfast.

We usually sit at the tapas train and munch away on the delicious tapas treats. But you have to try the pork belly as it's awesome! So tender, very tasty and leaves you wanting to return for a meal soon. The sangria is fantastic and they actually have about half a dozen flavours to choose from now. Try the potato croquettas and empanadas. Lively atmosphere and at the tapas train, there is a communal sense of fun. Adam, the manager is always very efficient, friendly and keen to make sure everyone has a great night!

The last time I went there the bathrooms were pretty ordinary. Good options for little kids through to serious trainers. Could definitely use a facelift. Parking is easy and free, casual entry is $4.50 for adults. Gets pretty packed on weekends in warmer weather.

This review is for Super Butcher, Eagle Farm QLD

You've gotta love Super Butcher! I don't get over there very often but when I do, I'm always thrilled with the quality and prices. Best to traipse over for a bulk meat purchase. I love going into the cold room area and seeing what's on offer although their marketing emails are very informative and always tempting. The butchers will cut your meat for you the way you want it, whether you're buying a side of beef or a tray of chicken breast fillets. Always accommodating and obliging and I don't believe anyone can complain about the quality or the pricing!

There's a difference between 'price' and 'value'. At Rode Meats, you expect to pay more, but you expect quality in return and we're never disappointed. They always have an excellent variety of ready-to-cook meats plus whole meats and the usual cuts. Friendly staff, easy parking and we're never disappointed with the quality!

This review is for Efes One Turkish Restaurant, Albion QLD

We've been to Efes One many times and the food is always fantastic! Don't eat before you go because you'll need the space! My favourite menu item is the lamb pide, the best anywhere in Brisbane! Sel, the owner is friendly and loves a chat. Oh, good rice pudding too! Go for the banquet so you can get a good taste of lots of dishes.

You have to try the ribs! They come with delicious coleslaw and awesome crunchy chips and the whole meal is superb! Lots of nooks and crannies to choose from, friendly staff and a great drinks menu too. Definitely a place to take your friends.

This review is for Crust Gourmet Pizza Bar, Grange QLD

Not your average Domino's, that's for sure. You can actually get a healthier pizza at Crust. Eat at the footpath tables, take away or get home delivery. The pizzas are more expensive but the ingredients are of higher quality.
