I got a cute haircut by a Korean hairdresser and at $30 per cut (plus $5 hairwash) its good value. I also wanted to get digital perm however the price was $200 which i thought is expensive (for shoulder length hair). There also seemed to be a bit of a language barrier between me and the hairdresser so I would recommend anyone coming here to bring lots of pictures of what they want. Overall I got a great haircut at a good price so I recommend this place especially if you want asian style hair.
Approximate cost: $35 for haircut
Sunday night early dinner - ordered the afternoon special (finishes at 5pm) which is good value at $7.90 per dish and good portion sizes. Roti - most authentic yet I've tasted in Brisbane, the accompanying curry though lacked the spiciness I tasted in Malaysia. Laksa, Char Kway Teow were both good but satay sticks were a bit mediocre. Overall good value and would recommend.

The chocolate here is not cheap but certainly taste great. The shop/cafe also has a great atmosphere and has cute decor. Of the chocolate I've tried I'd recommend Manga Lassi - sweet white chocolate with manga center - delicious :)
Approximate cost: $2.40 per chocolate
Ordered chef special which is a very aromatic dish with capsicum and onion. My friends also liked the rogan josh. Also ordered roti which was not as great as the one I had in Malaysia (I'm yet to find a place with good roti in Brisbane).
Approximate cost: $18
Friday night, place was packed. After a long line up, ordered Choc Dip and Tutti Fruitti Waffle. The strawberries and banana were really fresh and tasted great dipped in chocolate. The ice cream is very creamy but the waffle was slightly on the dry side. Great atmosphere and decor.
Ordered small fries, very generous portion size and very tasty. Burritos on the other hand were a bit bland but tasted better when I put the fries in the Burrito.
Approximate cost: $10
This take away was very busy on a Sunday night and nearby restaurants seemed fairly quite in comparison. Later I found out that the draw factor is not the food but the price. Ordered Vietnamese grilled pork and it was rather bland (Trang's at Westend does a much better job for a few dollar more) and lemongrass chicken also less than memorable.
Approximate cost: $8
Really liked the idea of rice burgers so went to try Mos Burger. I like the Yakiniku rice burger. The beef were really flavorsome. Also tried the Mos Burger which tasted a little bit different from your usual cheeseburger (I prefer Macca's). Overall fun experience. The prices were reasonable but the burgers are a bit small.
Bought a groupon which included mixed entree and four mains. Most of the entree were deep fried. Samosa was nice. The four mains were small portions and was more like Chinese food than Thai. The sweet and sour fish was ok but the other dishes were less than memorable.
Food is great value but taste wise nothing to rave about. Lunch set range between $6.50-8.50. I often order the lemon chicken.
