Lovely space with Scandinavian style. I went for
breakfast on Saturday morning and the service and food were excellent. Lots of veggie options, really nice vibe.
Well the new makeover certainly has the Wow factor as in "Wow it looks like an explosion in a pinata factory". The artwork may well scare small children. The menu is now a confusion of tapas, pizza, Mexican. The food was very average and expensive for what it was and the whole dining experience was pretty strange. Shame because the pizza here used to be outstanding.
A little Thai run by lovely people. GREAT choice of veggie dishes. Run, do not walk, to taste their tempura mushrooms with peanut sauce - outstandingly delicious.
Was very impressed by my meal. Rich, complex spicing, generous portions and a good choice of vegetarian options. Naan was soft and chewy - not oily. Highly recommend the eggplant and the creamy, nutty malai kofta. Will be going back soon!

I think we have a winner Melbourne. Rumi is just great. My other half even ate the Brussels Sprouts - he HATES sprouts. Everything we had (all vego) was marvellous - if this place was in North Melbourne I could eat here everyday. A really great dining experience.
Go early - really early - unless you like to queue. Staff do try to oversell you on food so stand your ground and don't be bullied. There can be some tude flying around this place. That said the food is good, it can be too cheesy and heavy for some but it hits the spot on a cold Melbourne evening
Go during the week for delicious pintxos at a buck a pop. It gets messy and mad in the evening and on the weekend and I don't think the plates are as good as the snacks. Fab fit-out and view.
I visited Simple Affair after along absence and was surprised and not in a good way. The food wasn't as good as I remember, veggie options were much more limited than before and my dish, for the price, was lacking care and quality. The space is great though but I'd stick to coffee next time.
If you are a vego and you haven't tried Fina's start making plans. All the forbidden delights of Victoria Street are now available to you as a vego. Including Pho - yep Pho! Lovely people, lovely place and lovely food. The veggie Banh Mi was $4.50! Go hungry.

Well I mean $6.50 for a homestyle plate of Indian grub and a butter Naan. The Naan is actually really very good as is the various Dahl dishes. It's very basic and the service can be slow but on a cold day it's a great place for lunch.
