Koorong is a great place to visit for all your Christian needs including but not limited to Bibles, books, dvds, inspirational material, plaques, gifts, etc. Their products are a bit pricey but they have sales on a regular basis. There is a café and playground as well.

We are glad we have recently discovered this pizza place. The pizzas are yummy, you can tell they use quality ingredients and the tomato sauce is so tasty. They are generous with the toppings. Monster pizzas are great value for a group, but so are the large pizzas at $8.90!

This review is for Max Brenner, Glen Waverley VIC

Max Brenner's hot chocolate is a lot better than that at a regular café, but it pales in comparison to that found at certain other chocolate cafes in Melbourne. The same can be said for the chocolates. The banana praline crepes used to taste amazing; now they are just ok ever since they started using a cheaper praline blend instead of melted chocolate. The prices are quite expensive for what they are; I would rather have a small slice of heavenly cake elsewhere.

This review is for Saad's Beauty Palace, Brunswick VIC

Saad and the other staff members are skilled at what they do. They are friendly and will try to fit you in even on short notice or on weekends. Saying this, they sometimes don't run on time but that is expected at a busy hair salon. I would go more often if I lived closer.

This review is for Khao Thip Thai Restaurant, Doncaster East VIC

This has been our go-to restaurant for weeknight dinners in the Doncaster area ever since we discovered it. Their urbanspoon rating is 89% which shows something. The food is quite authentic. I normally like variety but have been ordering the same meal almost every time: the cashew nut stir-fry. Yum! Great prices, too. We have yet to try the banquet.

This review is for Vanilla Lounge And Cakes, Oakleigh VIC

Having dined at Vanilla many times before, we had no major issues up until our last visit. We both had coffee and the same cream-based dessert; we both contracted gastro. After calling up later and politely notifying a waitress, she was rude and insistent that it was not from them, "educating" me on gastro. I am a health professional and had not had anything else to eat that day. When I respectfully asked to speak with the manager, she hung up the phone! As another reviewer said, the place is always busy and you cannot except much in the way of customer service. Having said that, expect to leave smelling like cigarette smoke (sitting indoors). There are no prices on display - they charge Greeks less than everyone else.

This review is for 57 Cafe Bar Restaurant, Mount Waverley VIC

This café serves great coffee and sandwiches. I have not had a meal here yet but am looking forward to it in the near future. There is plenty of parking but if you are not familiar with the area it may be a bit difficult to find. The only minus would be the smell of smoke from outside drifting in to non-smokers sitting inside.

Great coffee in a convenient location. I have not had a meal here yet but the coffee never fails to disappoint. Standard café pricing, $3.50. The only minus is that last time I was seated at my table for 10 minutes before a waiter came to take my order.

This review is for Hook Line & Sinker Fish & Chips, Glen Waverley VIC

Excellent fish, chips & burgers. The lamb souvlakis are the best!We are regulars here, just wish they had a coffee machine. More expensive than regular fish & chip shops but the atmosphere is more café-like and you get what you pay for.
