One of my favorite Korean restaurants in Melbourne. Nice spacious restaurant, good food, nice atmosphere and prices are reasonable with huge portion.
Love the Seafood Casserole dish (jjambong) and its Tteokpokki.
One word- 대박! Love the food and service too.
Approximate cost: $20.00
Love this restaurant's steamed dumplings- youu named it- Char Siew Pau (roast pork bun), custard egg buns, red bean buns...etc. Though it's not cheap but it's delicious. You can buy it hot to eat or get it cold so you can go home and warm it up.
The restaurant is rather tiny and packed with people but worth while to visit to try its dishes and 'pau'. Yum!
Approximate cost: $8.00
Kenny's Bakery located inside Freshwater Place- easy for morning workers to get their coffee and breakie. Prices are reasonable and they have extensive desserts and pastries too.
It's Asian owned but nevertheless service is good and food is good. Nice place for sandwiches as well. Thumbs up!
Approximate cost: $7-8.00
I must say this is quite a good Viet restaurant in Bayswater Central. They have renovated it and the menu looks interesting. I loved the Chicken Pho' and spring rolls. They have Chinese dishes and noodles as well. Reasonable pricing and ample car pak for everyone.
Approximate cost: $8.00
The Msian and SG food is considered good in Chaddy. However I've tried so many times and realized their curries are cooked too salty! They have either put so much salt or MSG in it resulting I am so thirsty after eating them. No doubt they are good in their curries and side dishes. Prices are reasonable.
Approximate cost: $7.50
This dessert house in Bxhill located upstairs of Petaling St restaurant has a nice HKg ambience in it. However the service needs improvement. Also, they need to advertise harder for its dessert and Hkg tea style sets to the public to attract more people.
Approximate cost: $8-10.00
The food at Asian Grain in Bxhill is alright. But ensure you go to the one at new Centro Box Hill as it's cheaper. Even the chicken rice has more side cucumbers and stuffs compared to the old one at food court. Price is reasonable, portion is huge. They even have side yum-cha if you are single person looking to have some egg tarts, yam puffs..etc
Approximate cost: $8.00-10.00
A nice cosy dining area with a pub at night. Reasonable pricing, food quality is alright. Ambience is rather diffferent than other restaurants. Great for catch up, chit-chats for the younger generation in Southgate.
Approximate cost: $25.00
Famous for its chef and its name. Service is excellent. However over-priced for its steak and some common food. The side dishes were not up to standard and expensive (I could even cook better than that). Desserts were great.
Needs to improve on the pricing and food quality.
Approximate cost: $25-35.00
I must say this M'sian restaurant is alright, not that great or fantastic. It's located pretty far for people staying in the East or South East. Prices are OK. The food quality is so-so. The laksa and loh bak was a let-down.
Approximate cost: $10-15.00
