Love its cakes and pastries from this Asian bakery. I wonder if it's the same as the ones in H-Kong. U can't go wrong with its egg tart ($1.90 each or u can buy 6 in a box), and I love its pineapple bun either plain or with red bean.

Some people mentioned that the rainbow Swiss rolls are lovely and it costs $11.00 for a log. I have tried its taro buns, mexican buns, red bean buns and custard buns but I personally like its pineapple buns ("polo pau")

Our company held its 10th year anniversary party here at this golf resort. It is tucked inside Fingal and a long drive from the main road into the reception area. Good relaxing area, nice rooms fully furnished with kitchen and TV, free-Wifi too!

Their buffet breakfast was great...lots of choices. Service was good too! Our dinner was held at their permanent marquee at the cold November weather but it was alright. Food was alright during the dinner time. Overall, it was a good experience to rest & relax away from the city. Great for golfers too.

We had a superb quick lunch at this place today. We ordered the prawn dumpling noodle soup and it was a huge bowl of noodles with 7-8 prawn dumplings (also known as 'sui kow'. Cheap and good for its price and portion esp in the city area.
The restaurant serves daily yum cha too but they have another corner for workers to have their noodles/rice/congee dishes during lunch hour. Value for money and excellent!
I'd definitely go again to try its other rice/noodle dishes.

I had to rush to ER dept for 3 times due to my gastro and hives problems. Waited many hours to be treated as usual as there were heaps of patients. Mine wasn't life threatening so I had to wait at least 3 hours.

But the recent 2 trips to the ER Dept because the swelling of my hives and lips, the ER doctors were fast and responsive. Very young doctors but they were patient to listen to my problems and prescribed me some medicine. I requested a blood test to check if my blood has inflammation...etc, got the results within 1.5 hours. Remember to bring your Medicare Card and Private Health Insurance card.

I was told by friends thatPapparich restaurant brings the great and richness of the Malaysian food but it was a huge let down. I've tried 3 times and yet disappointing.

1. Overpriced. ($13.00 for an Assam Laksa
I can't even see the fish in the soup, it was so microscopic
Assam Laksa was served with so little of the black prawn paste. Very stingy, also lacked of the bunga kantan for its flavor and smell. This is an essential herb for Assam Laksa.

2. Ipoh Hor Fun (dry/soup)
The chicken served was rather cold and the soup was too sweet (too much sugar/MSG)

3. Wat Tan Hor/Char Hor Fun
The gravy was too runny and i had to ask for the vinegar green chili. This is a must whenever you serve Char Hor Fun whether the customer wants to eat it or not.

For Malaysian style hawker food- it was just simply overpriced, exaggerated with the long crowds and queues and stingy in its serving and sauces.

Approximate cost: $13.00

This website from Australia is great for travelers wishing to purchase rail tickets for Europe, USA, Japan. You can either choose to either get the tickets posted at a fee or you can pick up them up from the office in Queens St.

I've found the Paris Museum Pass & Tickets were reasonable and you can purchase Oyster Card with value in it.
I have chat with its online operator to request for some information and found them useful. It makes your travel easier and convenient once you sort out your travel passes and tickets from Rail Plus.

By the way- you can choose to pay via credit card which attracts another fee on top of it, or else you can choose to pay via your bank account (EFT transfer) and it saves you the merchant fee.

This restaurant is famous for its flamed grilled chicken vermicelli. It's cheap, delicious and comes in a big portion too. If you're a small eater, share this meal with a friend.
Also it is famous for its Pho' (either chicken/beef) and it's great too. I've tried the fried spring rolls and they come in reasonable portion too.

It's sandwiched near to the pharmacy due to the new build car park and building at the central area. It gets busy and packed during lunch time so go early to find a seating place.

Approximate cost: $8.00-$9.00

This is a famous joint for Malaysian/Singaporean local hawker food. Cheap and good! I came here many times. It is famous for its curry laksa, Malaysian roast chicken rice and noodles.

I tried the dry Mee Pok Roast noodles and it comes with roast char siu, boiled egg and minced meat for $7.90. If you wish to have prawns with it- add another dollar and add $2.50 for extra soy-bean drink with your meal.
The place is small so go early to get a spot and find your taste buds. It has 2 shops separated but you can sit outside if you want to.

I come here to eat whenever I miss Malaysian hawker food.
Huge portions, cheap and good! You can't miss it. It's along the way to Victoria Market.

Approximate cost: $8.00-$10.00

Ducks & Nuts Restaurant has been a popular spot for tourists and locals in Darwin Central.
I've decided to try the breakfast on the last day before I left Darwin.

We tried 'The Royale Duck' breakfast which consists of 2 English muffins topped with smoked salmon, poached eggs and Hollandaise sauce and some seared asparagus.

Coffee was great, service was good and price was reasonable. The breakfast was great too. Something different than what we would have in a hotel. Great place to try out in Darwin.

We visited Cable Beach and dropped by at Zanders for a cuppa. It was a warm afternoon. We ordered 2 cups of coffee (Latte and Capuccino) and it took almost 15-20 mins to arrive when the restaurant is rather empty at 3.30 pm.

Restaurant is nice with great view from the deep blue sea. We were advised that the lunches were great at Zanders.
Remember to drop by at Zanders if you ever head to Cable Beach.
