Had a booking at this place at 6.30 pm on Thurs 4th July, with some business suppliers for a dinner. Surprisingly it's tucked at the corner beside a Motel along Maroondah Hwy. It's a pretty big restaurant and quiet area if you are taking friends or business partners for dinner.

Food was alright, portion was a lot. Service was good.
I ordered the Mango Chicken Salad, salad was a lot! Chicken pieces were huge and nice too. Suppliers ordered Thai Beef Salad and Bacon Risotto- all in huge sizes. We can't even finish them!

Dessert was nice- we had the Sticky Date Pudding and Creme Brulee. All desserts are at $10.00 each. Good bargain.
Would come again for a nice quiet dinner. Prices are reasonable.

Approximate cost: $20.00

Our company had a farewell party for a colleague in this restaurant some time ago. Environment is nice, location is good within Southbank- upstairs. We booked few tables and we ordered pizza and pasta. Price is alright, but food wasn't that fantastic as what they mentioned. Service is alright. It gets busy during lunch time.

Approximate cost: $15.00-20.00

Been with NIB Health Insurance for more than 6 years. U really need to call them once a while and squeeze them if they keep increasing your private health funds costs.

I've been to always NIB Dental and their dentists are professional. Service is good too. Remember to do your booking twice every year for dental check up. They have good range of claims for extras. I claimed for my dental, optical and even health lifestyle fitness. :D

Approximate cost: $90.

This review is for Tan Hung Asian Grocery, Glen Waverley VIC

Asian grocery inside Glen S/C and makes it easier to shop rather than to walk down to the other side where it has tons of restaurants. Plenty of Asian vege choices, fruits, groceries that you will need. Very convenient to buy Asian stuffs inside Glen.

But I did noticed the Korean instant noodles sold at this shop were rather expensive compared to Box Hill or other places.

Great food, good portion, lovely customer service and good location sandwiched in Degraves St food alley.
I once had a food voucher and brought my 2 fellow colleagues to have seafood pasta and slice of chocolate cake for dessert. Food quality was great and everyone was pleased with it. We had $100.00 on voucher for 3 pax to share.
I'd recommend to come and try this place in the CBD.

This review is for Mega Pet Warehouse, Ringwood VIC

One of the biggest warehouses for pets' food & supplies including accessories, toys and books.
Prices for the hay and straw for small animals are cheaper than other places. They are $6.80-$7.50 for a big bag.
They even packed the bulk guinea pig/rabbit food at 1kg, 3kg or 10kg.

This is good for people who own pets to purchase food and accessories at a cheaper price.

This review is for YAR Japanese/Korean Restaurant, Southbank VIC

I have to say I am a major fan of Korean food having visited Seoul for 4 times. So to me- Korean food is one of my favorites. But this restaurant doesn't provide an authentic Korean food and its pretty pricey for the portion we are getting.

Gets busy during lunch time because it's situated at Freshwater Place. Service is alright, but there are not many selections. I think the Japanese food is better than the Korean dishes. Again I'd say a normal bibimbap would costs the max of $10.00 but this restaurant charges more than that.

Approximate cost: $15.00

This review is for Nelayan Indonesian Restaurant, Melbourne VIC

Indonesian food would be rather similar to Malaysian food as i'd think. The quality of food is so-so, not fantastic, prices are ok for students and environment is ok.
This restaurant is not a place I'd be visiting more than once as it's not up to its standard.

This review is for Carrington Cake Shop, Box Hill VIC

verified email - 26 Jun 2013

This cake shop is famous for its red bean cream Swiss roll. It costs usually $8.00-10.00 a log. And it's famous for its light Japanese cheese cake available for $10.00 (maybe now price has increased)

Place is super packed with people buying buns and cookies on weekends.

Approximate cost: $10.00

I've decided to try this restaurant situated in front of Box Hill tram line. Many visitors have eaten its crab noodles and recommended it great. I found it too expensive so I decided to try its Hainanese Chicken Rice while my friend ate the Curry Laksa.

Price is OK, portion is OK, food quality is so-so. I'd not say it's the best but edible. Good for students and working people budget. Restaurant is rather small.

Approximate cost: $10.00
