We decided to have dinner at this joint in Darwin central as it's located along the main Mitchell Street.
Location is good, ambiance is nice- u get to walk up the stairs and sit on top overlooking the streets at night time.

However food was a let down. The Pad Thai chicken was too sweet and lack of crushed peanuts topping.
The cashew stir fry chicken was something I could even cooked at home. It's not fantastic Thai food in Darwin central. Perhaps other Asian restaurants served better food. Price was so-so only

Was on a business trip to Broome and the locals told us to meet them for dinner and drink at Matso's Brewery. It's located near to the sea side and it has its famous beer- Mango Beer, Lychee Beer, Chilli Beer and even Chango beer.
The food was alright but the waiting time was so long. Took nearly an hour for the food to come out.

Food was alright, the garlic bread was quite a let down but the prawn linguine was great. My colleague mentioned the steak was fantastic too. I'd buy the pack of Mango beers back if I had the time- it tasted sweet like shandy! Love it!

Prices are competitive and so far the cheapest I've found with discount.

Had take away from this Nandos branch last Sunday night. Service was alright. Food portion was okay, the ribs we have bought from the Mix Platter was a let down. Very tiny ribs.
Also we ordered the Peri-Peri chips but they gave us plain chips when there was not even a busy counter.

Chicken was soft though, but I saw the prices of the burger chicken which was $13.90 (overpriced!) That is even without coke and chips - another additional $6.50 on top of that.
Fast food are not very cheap now.

Last Sunday morning, had some friends over from Sydney and we went for a 11.00 yumcha session. Ample place for parking and it's spacious inside the restaurant.

Service is excellent and they changed plates for us too!
(Something that is rarely happened in yumcha sessions)
The food was served out non stop. I must say I love the cheese baked scallops in the shell though it's not an authentic chinese yum-cha dish. The chicken feet dish was alright but lack of the marinated sauce.
Egg tarts were nice, steamed dishes were nice too.
Overall- good food, good service and worth while to go!

A cheaper place for having steaks as some restaurants are pricey. I loved the twister curly fries that look like the piggy's tails. Can't find it at anywhere else. I had my chicken salad and ordered a bowl of these curly fries. :D

The price can be expensive at times but if you are looking to have a nice steak at a moderate price, this is the place. For seafood and chicken, i'd not really recommend.
It has a membership club and you can even purchase the piggy beanies for your kids if you like. :D

Went to try on Big Mama Korean/Japanese restaurant as location is convenient. If you take any trams from Flinders St, it stops right in front of it. It's near to Melbourne Central, RMIT & Melbourne universities and shops.

Try the Budae Jigae (Sausage Kimchew stew) that comes with sausages, noodles, kimchi, onions and tofu in the spicy stew. Love it! It costs around $20+ but good enough for 3 of us to eat and we can't even finish it. The Chicken Karaage which is the korean style fried chicken is good too, portion is huge.
Place is quiet and nice. Service and pricing is good.

5 years ago, our company held its 5th year anniversary at Lindenderry Wine Estate at Red Hill. Took me more than an hour to drive down there with a friend to catch up with colleagues.

Have to admit the rooms were big- nice and comfy for a nice afternoon to laze around. Surrounding the leafy estate are vineyards and it's a long trail of road from the main road to the estate.
We had dinner, some performance and a buffet breaky after a 1 night 2 days at the estate. I am not too sure of the price of the accommodation but it has Endota Spa needs to be booked in advance if you're serious of going for relax.

This restaurant was previously known as Han Palace but it has changed its name to Crown Palace Restaurant at Vermont.

The place is pretty alright, dim-sum & yum-cha varieties are quite limited, I'd not it's the best but adequate for a weekend yum cha session at Vermont. Lots of parking space and price is OK. The early session might not serve many dishes as what you'd expect.

Tip: Go to the later session where more dishes are served up.

Yesterday i was at Westfield Knox and it was tea-time.
I walked eveywehre and finally settled for a walnut pastry twist with a cuppa for $6.00 (nice combo)
You get a medium size pastry coated with whichever coatings you'd like (walnut, sprinkles, chocolate)...etc
Light pastry and sweet coated with nuts/chocolate. Love it!
