Since this was my second ever pub meal, and i cant even remember the first its been so long, perhaps i was expecting a bit too much. It was a meal on half price Tuesday. It was bland, my vegetables were perhaps microwaved and the whole thing looked like it wasn't prepared on site and perhaps just delivered and heated. However, it was prepared on-site.. at least the fish was which arrived with a large chunk of charcoaled something from grill hiding under it. That wasn't a pleasant surprise when i ate it. But my partner said it was one of the best pub meals he has had and warned me that normally i should expect far worse..

So if that's the case, then i would rate the meal as edible with the help of lots of tomato sauce.. to cut on costs, they only had one waiter for the night, who lost our drink order, but oh well.. we got our drinks about 45 minutes later...

Following from the comment below, I'm going to go from untrained staff to just plain nasty with the glares you get from them. I wouldn't call it a deli, its much more of a sandwich bar, that also sells bought in produce all wrapped for your convenience, cookies etc. My coffee, which was not horrid, but not good either, was served and made my a worker who really didn't seem at all interested in serving me or being there.

This review is for Lindt Chocolate Cafe, Chadstone VIC

Compared to the Sydney Lindt cafes, the Chadstone store is an embarrassment.
It was not busy at the cafe when I arrived, only 1/3 full, however, dirty plates and cups were sprawled all over the tables. The cakes on display were awkwardly arranged in the glass cabinets looking rather unappealing.

The cabinets themselves were covered in a layer of dust, making the place look even more dirty. Customers queued for well over 10 minutes before being seated even though there were plenty of empty seats and I waited even longer just to order my take-away hot chocolate which in the end was not at all worth the wait.

I always grab some of their chocolates as gifts for people. They are delicious and made with quality ingredients. The staff are friendly and always willing to help you make a choice. I love the little gift boxes they make up for Christmas and Easter as well.

I have always used virgin for their cheap flights. My partner and I flew over to Adelaide for $9 each plus $2 tax. I always looked out for cheap flights and its worth it. The crew are friendly enough and you can always bring food onto the plane if you don't want to pay for it on board.

If you want cheap sugary things to fill yourself with, here is the place to go. From the scary smiley cookies to the fake looking apple slice, its all here at Sunbeam. Made to order cake don't require much notice which makes you think "are they really make to order?" High school kids love the place as to do the grannies who crowd around in there at lunch time...

I remember going here when it first opened. It was great. The hot chocolate I had was lovely and my friends loved their coffees. The staff were really friendly. Some of the products seem a bit expensive but I would still buy them as a gift for someone.

This review is for Miss Marple's Tea Room, Sassafras VIC

You do not come here for the food! You come here for the experience of Miss Marple! The food is really bad and in giant proportions. It don't know whether people aren't finishing their meals because they are so big or just so nasty. Be prepared to wait for hours for a seat during peak tourist times of the year and don't expect your table cloth to be changed from the last person who sat there and messed it up.. A must visit place in my account just to see all the Miss Marple crap chucked around the place and just so you can tell your you've been and seen!!!

This review is for Bakers Delight, Balaclava VIC

Not really a fan of baker's delight bread at all. Horrible white stuff that has the texture of cotton wool. All the sweet baked products are horribly sugary to the point where I could not finish my danish. Service is average but at least you get served... eventually... The new gluten free bread was offered to me frozen, enough said...
