I recently was entrusted in the selling of my recently deceased parents property ... In this case my responsibility was to get the best for the beneficiaries of the estate so after much soul searching and research decided to utilise the services of Aitken Real Estate.

They, Stephen Aitken and his team – Nick and Anne, relieved us from worrying about rental payments every week, and hours trying to reconcile the accounts every month, which resulted from poor tenant selection and management by the previous agent. After Aitken took over the property management, they did it in a timely manner, with the best interests of both the property owner and the tenant in mind, not like the previous agent who took the side of the tenant while we paid him for looking after our property. When we decided to sell our property, we were prepared to spend some money to renovate and modernize it. Stephen Aitken analysed the advantages and disadvantages of renovation of our property, and the current market, and advised us not to spend a cent on renovation for sale. He strongly recommended selling the property privately as it was and not selling on auction. We were convinced by his professional opinion and his knowledge of the local market as well as his experience. What is more important is that he works to achieve the best result for his clients – property owners. Our property was sold 3 weeks after placing it on the market for private sale and the result was beyond our expectation. We did not spend any time and money as we had previously planned to do. This is our third time we have dealt with Aitken Real estate as previously they were our property managers and we were extremely pleased with the work they did for us whilst renting our property.
Aitken Real estate were a pleasure to deal with whilst selling our home.
