Having worked in the pet industry, I know what to look for in Pet Insurance. I chose PIA, because coverage I receive through them, is as good or better then other companies which charge a higher premium. Unfortunately, our pup had skin issues during the cool-down period, so they won't cover any skin issues. However, pet insurance is still beneficial for other conditions and accidents or emergencies. Having a young dog, who knows what will happen in the next decade!

After a nasty experience with my cat a couple of years ago I decided to take out insurance for both my cat and dog. Although unfortunately PIA wont cover my cats 'pre-existing medical condition' we have used our policy for other issues which we have had with our pets. Setting up the policy and using the policy has been really easy and definitely gives us peace of mind.

We have been with Pet Insurance Australia since our Pug, Dallas, was 8 weeks old. We watched the pain my sister went through with her fur baby when she got sick and did not have insurance and I knew it was a priority.
We have made a few claims with Dallas' skin conditions. The online portal makes it quick and easy. The policy is easy to take out, great value for money and The fee is direct debited monthly. We have full peace of mind

Have always insured my two dogs with PIA. Never once had an issue with claims. We get money back on annual vaccination and wormers too. I recently had to go to the hospital with one of my dogs and he ended up having an xray, ultrasound and a CT scan along with hospital stays. Knowing you have insurance behind you makes the decisions you have to make so much easier. I love the new online portal for making claims.

You never expect these things to happen to you but the reality is they can happen at any stage in your pets life. Thanks PIA for making it easy.

PIA has been great with my dog diggers pet insurance. We make frequent claims as he has epilepsy and heart failure. They have always been fantastic.

I have been with PIA for 3 years now and never had a problem. They are fantastic on the phone but I love that you can download your vet account to claim, they text you to say it is going through and voila! you are paid.

My dog cut her paw open, costing 800 dollars worth of vet bills to operate on. I submitted the necessary forms and within a couple of weeks a cheque came reimbursing me for about 80% of the bill. The 25 dollars I pay a month gives me real peace of mind. Would recommend to anyone
