I travel alot and I have been with many different airlines, and I just have to say; my flight on Virgin was one of the worst 5 hours of my life, second only to Air Canada.
The service was horrible and there wasn't a thing on board I could afford!
Headphones were $10!
I suppose they make up for this with the cheap ticket cost, so they may be fine for short trips,
Any one who wants quality or is planning on a longer flight, I don't recommend Virgin.

Have never ever had a problem with this airline, and if I did I think they would fix it quick smart not like other carriers I have flown with before. Always willing to help out and very friendly. Will continue to fly with them as much as I possibly can.

the flight attendants are very friendly and the flights very smooth. the food and beverage are of quite a high standard aswell. i would definitely fly with them again.

Here is something I like about Virgin, the "Motherly" female flight attendants... is really hard to find good deals, but atleats you don't have a airplane packed with metrosexual male flight attendants that prefer to chat with they selfs like Qantas has...

flying from brisbane to sydney I chose virgin blue simply because of cost and time that I wanted to go at, so I was surprised to find them (it was my first time flying with them) very helpfull and they even had an in flight service where you could buy food and coffee/tea along with other beverages and snacks. This was a nice surprise for a "budget" airline with cheap fares and the service flying when I needed to fly and not having to book ahead for week's in advance and plan my trip around times that they were flying. Well done virgin blue I'll be flying with you again in the future of that I'm sure.

Virgin aren't even the airline which is known for customer service however they are always so friendly, helpful and efficient. I love flying with them as they make flying such an ease.

I enjoy flying virgin as it is comfortable and friendly. The staff really know how to accomadate parents with children to make it easier for everyone.

Virgin airlines are alright, they do have cheap fares which is always fantastic however they need seats that are comfortable and have individual televisions.

my husband and i were going to brisbane via virgin blue and we got to the airport 2 hours early as we went after work and when we went to check in, they offered us a earlier flight free of cost. we were surprise but really happy. they did the same when we were coming back from brisbane which was great.
