This is my favourite pizza shop! The pizzas have lots of topping and are always nice and hot/fresh. They do cost a bit more than your regular chain stores but they're worth it - my boyfriend will not eat any other pizza now! My favourite is the Plaza Special. Save the token of each pizza box and you can save them up to get free things eg garlic bread, pizzas etc. They also deliver and have a few good combo deals. Unlike the Bray Park store, the customer service at this store is really quite good. They are happy to take orders over the phone too for collection later on. There is not a lot of parking at this location and it can be a bit awkward as it is on the corner of Sandgate Rd (busy) but park on Stanworth Rd and you'll be fine. Definitely worth a visit!

These pizzas are pretty good with much more topping than what you get from Dominos etc. You do pay a bit more, but then again, you get what you pay for. My favourite is the Plaza Special. Each pizza box has a token on it and you can save them up to get free things eg garlic bread, pizzas etc. They also deliver and have a few good combo deals which make it quite reasonable. On the couple of times I have actually collected our pizzas, the staff have been very distracted and really not focused on customer service - shame because their pizzas are good so if you can see past the staff you'll enjoy it. The store is quite clean and plenty of parking in the little shopping centre carpark. Worth a try!

This butcher is definitely about good quality and fresh meat. I find they can be a little more expensive but you pay for good quality. I think their ham is really flavourome - unlike some you get in the supermarket without any taste. They have a fairly big variety of pre-prepared meats eg rissoles, flavoured sausages, mignons etc - lots of variety other than standard cuts of meat. I often get a massive bone for the dog, which they cut in half - $4, bargain. They also have cooked chicken pieces which taste a bit like KFC chicken - very reasonably priced. Also check out their facebook page for specials.

I stumbled across this outlet recently and I am so happy that I did! I've spent many hours looking online at outdoor lounges and I found just what I was after at Get Outside. I managed to pick one up reduced by 50% to $1000!! Bargain :o) They also have lots of outdoor table settings, spas and a few other outdoor bits and pieces. DEFINITELY worth a look if you are after some outdoor furniture. I had done lots of homework on prices etc, and they are much cheaper than places like The Outdoor Furniture Specialist etc, with some of the same stuff even! The guys were helpful but definitely not pushy. Highly recommended! They have some products on the website but definitely not everything. Go take a look anyway :)

This vet is actually called 'My Pets Vet', but otherwise all the other details are correct. They provide a really friendly service and are always happy to try and fit you in for an appointment. They have $5 hydrobaths for dogs on a Saturday morning too (bargain!!) - and you don't have to be registered there to take advantage of that offer.

A very good women's clothing shop with lots of 'races/party/formal' type dresses. The prices are very reasonable, especially since us girls seem to need a new dress for every occassion lol - this store won't completely break your bank! The clothing is organised by colour generally so you can easily find what you're looking for. Not a huge store but definitely well worth a visit if you want a new outfit. Staff aren't pushy but happy to help or give advice if you ask.

Definitely worth a look!! Not a very big store but it always seems to have some current fashions and the old faithfuls (eg black work skirts). I've picked up some very good bargains from the front racks - last time it was a lightweight knit jumper for $10 - lots of colours to choose from and generally a variety or sizes too (not just tiny ones). Staff always greet you when you walk in and are not pushy with sales, just happy to help if you need it.

This is a very big discount store and generally has everything I'd expect to find there. They have quite a lot of kitchen, garden, craft items. A few party accessories and 'Australia' themed items too. I always duck in there for cheap wrapping paper and cards - big selection! It is always neat and tidy and staff are happy to help.

Very good 'cheap' shop with most things you'd expect to find. They have a fair bit of craft, kitchen and fancy dress items too. I recently bought quite a few accessories for a 1920s outfit (eg feather headband, gloves, plastic pearl necklace etc - all for about $10 total!). It is amazing what you find in there. Staff are always happy to help you look for something, but I find they can be a bit distracted at the checkout.

Very good, large, second hand shop with lots of clothing, homewares, furniture etc. Well set out and the staff are always friendly. I often pop in for those odd bits and pieces you don't want to pay a fortune for and don't mind buying pre-loved! My latest purchase was about 10 different shaped glasses for a cocktail night I was having. They were initially $2 each but were on sale for 30c each! Bargain!!
