Excellent bakery. Food is always delicious. Not overly cheap but you get top quality in return. You can get fresh sandwiches made too and they also do catering and coffee. Very clean store and always people in there which says alot!

Lots of yummy ice creams to choose from, just a little pricey (same pricing at all BR stores I think). I find this store doesn't have as many different varieties as other stores I've been to but still plenty to choose from. Staff can at times be a little slow/distracted, but maybe they are just learning. They are always polite and friendly. Clean store.

Very good range of products and all really well priced. Prescriptions are much cheaper than other chemists I have been to. Staff are always happy to help with advice. During busy times though, there can be about a 10-15min wait on prescriptions, but they give you a buzzer so you can wander around the store browsing until it tells you your prescription is ready. Lots of discounted perfumes too and you can order from their website.

Clean and comfortable dining area. Staff are always friendly and willing to accommodate any special food requirements (where possible). You can get discounts for the restaurant on the back of shopping dockets at local businesses which entitle you to a $5 meal with the purchase of a full price meal. Makes it very affordable! They have specials on various nights throughout the week (eg Schnitzel night, Steak night etc). This also helps to save money if you pick the right night.

I've enjoyed their food a few times now and it has always been very nice. I don't like my food very hot and they are always accommodating with that. They have a few specials packs which provide very good value for money. Wait time is not very long (maybe 15mins during peak time) and I think they home deliver locally too (for extra).

Cheaper rentals than other nearby stores and they have a few discount periods during the week. Not the biggest video store but still has most movies you would be looking for. I've often picked up dvds (new, not ex rental) for a fraction of the price you would expect to pay. The staff are friendly and happy to help look for the movies on the shelves for you. Free to join and you get a complimentary movie rental on your first paid rental - can't lose there!

One of the few bulk billing doctors around so no out of pocket expense which is great. It can be a day or so before you can get an appointment although if you went in with a sick child etc they would definitely make a spot available for you. Like others have said, wait time can be very frustrating, even when you've made an appointment and are one of the early appointments in the day. Staff are quite friendly though and parking is easy to come by. It is right next to a chemist which makes it handy if you need to get a prescription filled afterwards.

Very good butcher, great quality and always very friendly service. They have weekly specials which you can get on email. My only negative bit of feedback is that sometimes I can't see the advertised specials in store and since there's generally lots of people in there I have left before without finding what I had wanted. It has only happened a couple of times but if anything on sale was marked with the sale price it would make it much easier. But overall, highly recommended.

Awesome little pizza place in Bald Hills. Loved the atmosphere and the waitress was very attentive but not pushy. Entree, main and dessert were really very tasty but the dessert pizza was the pick of the bunch. Totally to die for!! The staff are all very friendly and appreciate local patronage. If you like their facebook page you can get some pretty good specials.

I did the winery horse ride yesterday and it was a great day through some beautiful scenery. There were about 20 other riders in the group, with about 5 friendly staff too. Actual riding time was about 6hrs on a full day tour. Great experience and lots cheaper than other riding places I've looked at. The ride included a cheese platter and wine tasting at the winery, lunch and any other drinks are extra (lunches were approx $20-$40). They do make you sign a disclaimer before riding to say they have no liability for any injuries etc. I did think this, and a few other bits of info (eg poorly signed location, the fact that you shouldn't wear a backpack riding, which meant no water for 4hrs!!), should have been made clearer beforehand rather than the morning of! Otherwise, I'd highly recommend this even for absolute beginners.
