We tried this chinese restaurant on one of our trips to Jupiter's Casino because they had a lunch special on at the time. Three courses for $20 which is great value but the food was just average, nothing you couldn't get at any shopping centre food court. The restaurant itself didn't feel very clean, the carpet was dirty and there was just an dirty oil sort of smell in the air. Unfortunately this restaurant does not match the quality of the other restaurants at Jupiters Casino.

This chinese restaurant is excellent. We took our family here for dinner one night and were pleasantly surpirsed at how good the quality of food was. We ordered the banquet which gave us a good variety of food and was pretty good value and all the flavours were fresh and very tasty. It didn't make you feel bloated and then hungry again 30 minutes later like some chinese restaurants do. To finish off we had the best deep fried ice cream I have ever had, so big you can definately share amongst two people. The restaurant itself is nice and clean and beautifully decorated. A big thumbs up from me!

This place has a huge selection of restaurants and my favourite is the Chinese restaurant upstairs. We have also done our Christmas lunch here many times. They host it up in the ballroom and for $65 you get a huge buffet xmas lunch with entertainment, lucky door raffles and a visit from Santa who has a gift for all kids. Hard to go past value like that.

I came to this nail salon because I had bought a voucher for it online from a shopping website for a shellac manicure. The nail technician I had was ok, but not all that friendly. They had very few colour choices for the shellac polish and seemed more interested in getting me to have a pedicure than concentrating on my nails which is why she cut me a little when trimming my cuticles. I feel you get what you paid for here because the shellac didn't last anywhere near as long as other places I have been to.

This is a wonderful club situated right on Lake Macquarie and there is a huge back deck that is right over the water. It's perfect for lunch on a beautiful day, especially as there is a pretty good bistro right inside that sells reasonably priced tasty meals. There are also bars and a pokie area and was renovated in the past few years so it's nice and fresh inside. They also have function rooms and I did my daughter's christening there and it was lovely and great value.

Great little pharmacy conveniently located right next to two different medical practices in Wishart Village. They usually have everything you need without the huge mark ups that some smaller pharmacies usually have, they often have household items on sale just as cheap as supermarkets. They are also open late which is great, 8pm on week nights and 6pm on weekends.

A bouquet of chocolate instead of flowers, what could be better? Well when the chocolates are just so beautifully designed to match the theme of the gift it just seems so personnel. I love the baby shower and bridal shower themed ones. Plus the chocolates are delicious!

Designer Delights make the absolute best cakes! I have tried a few of their cakes and ordered my daughter's christening cake from them. They decorate their cakes beautifully, very professional and modern. Best of all is the way they taste, the cakes are always super tasty and moist but they have the best fudge frosting. It's so much better than fondant that is sickly sweet and hard. Fudge frosting is soft and just delicious. These guys are pricey but worth the extra dollars!

This is an online party supply store that specialises in kid's birthday party decorations. They have alot of the hard to find stuff you can't get in stores. I came across them when an ebay order I had for all my daughter's Minnie Mouse party decorations never arrived. I was so distraught as the party was in less than a week and I had no decorations for that theme and as it's a specially licenced item they don't sell them in stores. I came across partyzone when I started searching online for a quick fix. They were so understanding of my dilemma and took my order and express posted it the same day. Express post means I was supposed to receive it the next day but it didn't arrive the next day or the next or the one after that. It was a busy time to the year and the order must of got delayed in transit. Partyzone was so understanding they offered to overnight post my order out to me again and just send back the other one whenever it arrived. I couldn't believe how nice that was of them and thankfully the next day that second order they sent me arrived. I was so relieved and happy, thankyou Partyzone for going above and beyond and making one 3 year old a very happy girl!

I recently hired this company to provide entertainment for a Hen's Night I was organising as it sounded like alot of fun. I chose the option of a Burlesque class hosted at the Zuri Bar in the Valley. The package consisted of a one hour burlesque class, a glass of champagne on arrival and canapes in our own private room. Firstly the room was not a room at all, it was just a section on the main bar area. Although the bar was closed to the public at that time, there were many bartenders and bar staff walking through constantly which made us feel a little self conscious. We wanted it to be just us girls. The teacher then gave the hen a costume to change into so we went to the bathrooms to get changed and as it was a little tricky to figure out it took us about 10 minutes to get her into it. We were shocked to see she had started the class without us while we were gone. I had also been assured that the teacher would make everyone feel comfortable and at ease however she didn't seem to be sensitive to the girls who were a little embarassed or shy. She also finished the class 15 minutes early which really annoyed the hen, by that point we were all a bit over it. Another annoying thing was that they didn't open the bar till 10 minutes before we got there so there wasn't enough time for the aircon to cool the place down so it was stinking how while we did the class. Not exactly the nicest atmosphere for a hen's night. It's a shame because it had the potential of being a great experience but just didn't come to fruition.
