Having done extensive renovations recently I'm so glad to be able to share with people the great tradies I have found because I know all too well a good tradie is worth their weight in gold. I had my birthday dinner here recently with 25 of my friends & family as we were all staying at RACV Noosa resort & we all had a great time. The table was layed out beautifully and our waiter was really helpful & friendly. They have a special set menu that they change weekly that offers 2 courses for $29 so it's great value.

We took our kids here recently as I realised I hadn't been here since I was a kid and was pleasantly surprised. They have a really good variety of animals and lots of hands on feeding of the animals the kids can do. My daughter just loved feeding the kangaroos. It's also a really good sized zoo for small kids, you can see the whole zoo without getting exhausted unlike some of the bigger zoo. My best tip or families is pack a picnic lunch as their are loads of nice spots to sit and enjoy a nice lunch with your family.

This place is fantastic if you are staying at or visiting Jupiter's Casino at the Gold Coast and you are looking for a late night snack or just a light meal at any time of the day. They have really long trading hours 11am - 5:30am and they serve good, tasty meals for really cheap prices. You order at the counter and they bring the meal to you. It's not fine dining but it is quick and saves you waiting in the restaurants. Just last month I had their beef noodle soup and it was actually better than the beef noodle soup I had at the new Luk Nguyen Fat Noodle restaurant at Treasury Casino & it was only $10!

We had our house rendered by Ashton and his team and we couldn't be happier with the job they performed. Ashton was so helpful and professional. He provided us with a very reasonable quote and came many times to our house before he started the job to be sure we were happy with the colour and texture options. They completed the job quickly and left minimal mess. Ashton also went above and beyond to make us happy, he did little fix up jobs around the house on rendering that had been done by someone else previously on our fencing. It's been almost a year now since we had the job done and the rendering is still perfect. If you are thinking about getting your house rendered do yourself a favour and get Ashton from Completely Plaster out for a quote!

I found this place to be ok, nothing to rave about though. The hairdresser I had seemed to want to keep telling me how busy she had been & how tired it had made her. With 2 small kids at home I just want to relax at the hairdressers, not listen to them complain. She wasn't all bad though, she did do a good job of dying my hair and straightening it. I had also booked in for a pedicure but they lost that booking and there was no one there to do it for me so that also annoyed me.

I had Tiffany come out to my house just before Christmas for a manicure & pedicure for the festive season. She was quite lovely and professional. She also uses Shellac polishes so it lasts much longer. My fingernails lasted 2 weeks before chipping and my toenails over a month. The convenience of having her come out to your home is also great.

I'm a huge lover of Greek food and this place use to be great until they changed owners and now it's gone downhill. Unfortunately the quality of food is just not up to the standards of the previous owner and the service needs improving. It's a shame as we use to have such a great time here with tables of 10 and more.

I went here for a Sunday lunch with my family recently and was pleasantly surprised at how nice it was. I hadn't been here for years and I remembered it being quite old but they have renovated and done it up quite nicely. The food was pricey but really really good. I had the best filet mignon I've ever had and their steaks are so tender. They even had face painting and balloon animals set up for the kids. I would definately return for a lovely casual Sunday lunch anytime.

I came across these guys at the Normanby Hotel one Sunday afternoon when I went for lunch with my family. They had a table set up and were painting kids faces for free so I took my daughter over expecting a pretty simple design done. She asked to be a butterfly and I was shocked at how beautiful the design they did on her face was. Such bright beautiful colours and so neat and tidy. Afterwards they made her a balloon animal, they really made her day. I took their pamphlet because I will definately be hiring these guys for our next party. They charge $220 for 15 kids for 2 hours of face painting & balloon animals. Definately worth the money.
