This review is for Little Greek Taverna, West End QLD

We've been to this restaurant a few times now and it's been consistently good every time. We always order the banquet because with Greek food it's always best to have a little bit of everything. Our favourite is their Cyprus bread & dips (the taramasalata is awesome) and he grilled halloumi! Yum. It's always best to book well ahead of I'm because there is limited tables & they always seem busy.

This review is for Balloons Galore, Toowong QLD

Balloons Galore did the balloon decorating for my son's christening and they did a great job. They were happy to work out some designs with me as I wanted a few different displays, they even special ordered some balloons in for me. On the day they delivered everything on time and displayed it all beautifully. They are a little pricey but most balloon shops are these days anyway.

This review is for Charlies, Surfers Paradise QLD

Charlie's has been on Cavill Ave Mall for as long as I can remember, it's a bit of an institution there. It's the perfect spot to go for breakfast, lunch or dinner and sit and people watch. The last time I was there I had the French toast and it was so good! It's not fine dining, just good tasty food at a reasonable price.

This review is for Sesames On The Lake, Belmont NSW

Sesames is a great Thai restaurant in Newcastle that's been around for ages and won alot of awards. The restaurant itself is nicely decorated and feels very clean and fresh. The food is very good, my favourites there are the coconut rice and chicken in peanut satay sauce. They are a little pricey but its worth it. The one down side is that sometimes the coconut rice is not as good as others, I've had it a couple of times when it was too dry.

We had our electric garage doors installed by these guys a few years ago and they are still working great. They were professional and on time. They were also one of the more affordable companies when we were getting quotes. I recommend these guys to anyone looking to get electric garage doors.

This review is for New Shanghai, Charlestown NSW

We took our family out to dinner here on a recent trip to Newcastle and were really impressed with the quality of food at this restaurant. This is definately the best Chinese food I've had in a very long time. The food is so fresh and they have really unique dishes. I loved the pork belly, the pork with dumplings and the rainbow beef. The atmosphere is great too, very nice layout.

Approximate cost: $15 - $25

We have been to this Thai restaurant a few times now when we have holidayed in Newcastle and its pretty good. The food is tasty and fresh and at lunch time they do some great $10 lunch specials. It's part of the new Charlestown Square dining precinct which has such a cool atmosphere.

This review is for My Survey Australia, North Sydney NSW

This is one of the only survey sites that is actually worth doing. It rewards you with lots of different options, one of them being paypal credit which is as good as cash. The surveys come in pretty regularly and there is a pretty good variety of them.

This review is for Pancake Manor, Brisbane QLD

This is the original pancake manor and it is in a old beautiful heritage church. It's such a unique building with very high cielings and gorgeous stained glass windows. They make yummy crepes for savoury & the best pancakes ever for sweet. My favourite is the macadamia pancakes. It's also open all night long so it's great for a late night option.

This review is for One Spa, Noosa Heads QLD

verified email - 18 Feb 2013

I visited this spa as a birthday gift from my husband while staying at RACV Noosa Resort recently and it was definately the nicest day spa I have ever been to. It's beautifully decorated and the ambiance is just so relaxing. When you first arrive they lead you to a room where you can leave your bag and clothes in a locker & they give you a robe & slippers to change into. They then lead you to a relaxation room where you can lay back on loungers before your treatment. The treatment rooms are lovely, nice, big and quiet. I had a leg, back and scalp massage and a pedicure. My therapist was amazing, she made me feel so relaxed. I don't know how she did it in that dimly lit room but she painted my toenails perfectly. They finish you off with another relax on the loungers while they bring you some sorbet & peppermint tea ...... Perfection!
