Gorgeous little cafe with lovely artworks on the exposed brick walls. Their breakfasts are to die for, and arrive perfectly garnished and decorated. This is a standout in the area, and is always full of happy, funky people. Everything I've eaten here has arrived fresh, hot, and wonderfully presented, and the staff are accommodating and sweet. A must try!

Hawker Street Cafe has such a beautiful vibe. There are big bench seats and long tables where you can relax, read the sunday paper, and eat a perfect Eggs Benedict. The coffee is apparently to die for (I always ask my boyfriend or friends as I am not a coffee drinker), and the tea comes in a lovely pot, and is perfectly brewed.

If you haven't ventured to this shopping and eating precinct, I recommend it, as the place has a wonderful vibe!

This review is for Classic Shoe Repairs, Adelaide SA

I've had some handbags and shoes repaired here. The customer service is good, and they are FAR too cheap!!

But I do find their repairs are just 'good' and not 'great', as they sometimes don't do the most perfect of jobs.

Still, they are around half the price of anywhere else, and I have seen other customers ecstatic because the shoemaker has gone the extra mile and found some hard-to-find attachment or piece for their shoes or handbag.

I will definitely continue to go to these shoe repairers, but I would advise customers to expect the occasional three or four star job in amongst the excellence.

I came here for my birthday, and it was lovely, but expensive. I think it was perhaps more my boyfriend's type of place, rather than mine (he chose it as a special treat for me, and hoped I would be delighted!!). The food was delicious, but I would have preferred a more relaxed ambiance.

A wonderful dinner, but only for those happy to pay more than $170 for a meal for two.

There were nice touches, such as lovely mementos in the form of menu cards showing what we had eaten and the lovely wines which had complimented them, and the dessert was amazing, but not better than meals I've eaten for 1/4 or 1/2 the price.

This review is for ASOS, Sydney NSW

ASOS is very hit and miss. The best way to shop with them is to buy premier, which is an ASOS service where you get free express postage and free returns. That way, you can return all the things that won't fit, won't suit, or won't measure up to good standards of quality.

However, amongst all these silly things, there are amazing, beautiful bargains! Four or five of my favourite dresses are from ASOS, and half my shoes. But I've had to wade through packages of wrongly sent sizes, of things that looked totally different than they did onsite, and which fell apart on delivery.

So: in closing, totally worth it, but only if you are prepared to send back half of what you buy... and then you will be so glad of all the lovely things in your wardrobe!

I've shopped here a few times, but have stopped shopping with WIldChild so much lately as they seem to have gone to a more fancy direction, rather than the more upscale casual they used to specialise in. I have bought some of my favourite clothes here, so I will try again I'm sure.

The Birdcage has a fantastic range of clothes, with great brands, such as Minkpink, and some local and Australian brands that are hard to find too. A beautiful store to visit if you are looking for something casual OR special!

This review is for Kadina VIllage Motel, Kadina SA

I stayed here for a week whilst on placement. I was surprised by the pleasantness and attentiveness of the staff, and by the fantastic, cheap room service meals. The only thing I was not super pleased with was that the internet was ridiculously expensive. Kadina is a town with great technology, and I do wish there were more accessible internet - a disappointment whilst we were working so hard, and needed to be in contact with classmates and friends back in Adelaide.

However, the place was cheap, super clean, friendly, and very caring. Everything we asked for, we were kindly provided with, from dishwashing to extra blankets, to extra chairs etc.

I very much appreciate the fantastic quality and commitment to service displayed by these lovely professionals.

This was the site for our lovely final dinner at the end of my placement at Kadina as a student teacher. The food was fabulous and the place was nicely heated. The salad bar was great too! I had a wonderful beef schnitzel, and my friends had various things, including the surf and turf, from memory. A lovely night. If you're travelling in Kadina, I can heartily recommend.

This review is for Cornish Bakehouse, Kadina SA

I finally did my placement at uni, and had to spend a week in Kadina with some other students. The cornish Bakehouse was a staple for that week. Their fare is simple, classic and delicious bakery food. It has a nice outside space too, perfect for after school meetings with my workmates.
