This review is for All Podiatry, Windsor QLD

My younger son is an athlete and was experiencing problems with pain in his feet and legs. The care and service we received at All Podiatry Windsor was outstanding. They have some pretty impressive technology to help patients understand how their gait can affect their pain levels. They can 'prescribe' shoes and orthotics and also supply them.

Easy to park outside. Staff are friendly and efficient. Good range of shoes for all ages and health requirements.

I always get a fantastic pedicure here, and for just $35, you can't beat it! The staff are all very pleasant and work hard and I'm always happy with the results.

You can usually turn up on the spur of the moment and ask for a manicure or pedicure and they'll fit you in. If you came unprepared with open toe shoes, you can walk a few metres to Crazy Clarks and pick up a pair of new thongs.

Highly recommended :)

I was served by a really enthusiastic male staff member who tried his best to help me when I was buying gifts to send to friends in Hong Kong. He went out of his way to offer suggestions and was polite, friendly and patient.

Unfortunately, I wrote to the head office to praise him and never heard back. I think that's pretty lousy. Teenagers get a bad rap all the time and when they are praised for doing well, it should be acknowledged. I just hope they passed on my comments to him, though I did tell him myself when I paid for my purchases.

Argh!! I LOVE Freestyle!! If you're looking for a dessert fix, look no further. Parking can be a problem if it's bang on meal time as there are several other restaurants in the same location but at least parking is free which is excellent for such a central address.

Sure, the desserts are expensive at around $15 but you can load up and walk away very happy (or guilt-ridden!!) for your money. I usually get the triple scoop sundae with fudge sauce and marshmallows but you have to try the sugar donuts!!

Freestyle also do delicious meals; try them!

Even if you go to another restaurant for dinner, I highly recommend moving on here for dessert!

Very expensive steak which was not that much better than I could get it elsewhere, but I guess you pay a premium for high-rent CBD outlets. The wait staff were friendly and efficient.

Menu is varied, desserts are from the cabinet which I usually avoid in case the turnover isn't high and you end up with something a few days old. But with Pig N Whistle open 24/7, it's a pretty sure bet that things sell fairly quickly. Anyway, the cheesecake was good!

Good for an after-movie meal because of the late hours.

This review is for Only Oz, Everton Hills QLD

I was looking for Poppy Custard Powder - since Coles and Woolies are discarding good Aussie brands from their shelves - and the only place I could find to buy it was Only Oz. This is a company that sells Australian made products from Australian owned companies and delivers to anywhere in Australia, or the world.

Not only is their business model a welcome addition to the shamefully monopolised grocery market but they are a proud family business too. The operate at Everton Hills on Brisbane's northside and customers can pick up their order or have it shipped.

I've found a number of products at Only Oz that I would never have considered buying (or known about since they're not in the big two supermarkets) but which are superb. Mint Kleen by Oz Kleen (makers of Shower Power) is by far the best all-purpose surface cleaner I've used.

Orders are delivered promptly, very well packed and with a smile. Prices are not 'cheap' but the quality is excellent.

Give them a go, they need more support.

I much prefer Hoyts Stafford to Event Cinemas Chermside because for one thing, the prices are so much cheaper. Being a smaller shopping centre has its advantages too; easy parking, fewer people, more convenient. If you want lollies, Sweethearts is just across the mall from the cinemas and you can buy by the 100g.

As with any cinema, food such as popcorn and a drink is expensive but hey, it's movie popcorn and part of the experience. The staff at the concession counter always do their best to help if you have vouchers or want to change your order.

The seating is comfortable and you don't have to pick where you sit in advance. Cinemas are kept clean and pleasant.

There are plenty of food options in the food court including Subway, kebabs, sandwiches, Fasta Pasta, roasts, coffee, muffins, etc. Eat before or after the movie.

Beach House and Fasta Pasta offer movie meal deals so check them out.

This review is for Albany Hills Radius Medical Centre, Albany Creek QLD

My family and I have used this centre for 16 years and even though we now live at The Grange, we still make the trek to see our regular doctors there. With a well-appointed treatment room and specialist rooms, a chemist and a Sullivan & Nicolaides next door, it's very convenient.

There is quite often a bit of a wait to see doctors as it is a very busy - and growing - practice. Very professional and well-run.

This review is for Michel's Patisserie, Lutwyche QLD

This Michel's is a bit hit and miss with the coffee. Sometimes it's awesome, but sometimes it's really not. I had to take back a cup recently. Could be the barista on duty or maybe the machine needed cleaning out. I look forward to a great cup next time.

Staff are friendly but usually very busy. Despite it being a very small shopping centre, Michel's is popular here.

Can't comment on the food as I usually only buy coffee to take away.

This review is for Fasta Pasta, Stafford QLD

I looove Fasta Pasta for a good carb hit! My favourite dish has always been Ravioli Milanese, can't go past it. I usually order a main and take home whatever I can't finish. It's always brilliant the next day!

I love that they provide the free bread and butter. It's soft and squishy and fresh (the bread, that is).

There are plenty of tables, including some outside, and they also offer cinema meal deals. Hoyts cinema is a couple of stores down.

Fasta Pasta is licensed so you can get beer or wine to go with your Italian feaset.
