Not bad! Cheaper coffee at $3.50 for a large is more like the CBD's 2011 prices. Well, it is around my area of the CBD anyway.
Nice an spacious and coffee was nice. We had a large cookie (macadamia an white choc. Yum!) for $6 which is good. Standard coffee and Vickie is $5.50

Boy have libraries changed since I've been in school if Frankston Library is anything to go by!
DVD's galore with a few recent titles as well! In my hand I have the movies The Hangover and Friends WIth Benefits .. Not bad when they're borrowed for FREE!
If you commute by train through Frankston station you can even reserve your books on line and then pick them up from a library person manning a pop-up library 'shop' within the station itself! The lady is there every Tuesday and Thursday morning and you can browse her small mobile collection of books, CDs and DVDs, pick up and drop off any that you have or would like!
Now that's service!
The library is a new modern building open until quite late on weekdays and even screens movies for a gold coin donation in its own cinema at certain times of the month.
Frankstonians, you should be very proud of your library!

I did a lot of research in finding what I thought was a clever tax accountancy firm that was on the ball for property investors. Unfortunately when I went along to this firm they didn't tell me that the director/accountant had sold the business to these guys.
My returns were measly and I changed accountants a couple if years ago and now enjoy the services of an accountant that has my best interests in mind.
I find most of the staff incompetent and the prices exorbitant for the service provided.

Approximate cost: $Don't waste your money!

Mixed review for this one. Lamb shanks came out for another table and it looked delicious. My dining partner order fungi penne and the serving was large and the pasta was very tasty. I ordered a pizza pocket type of thing which was filled with ricotta and spinach. Thi dish was kind of a medium sized pizza but also had a pastry top and then filled with the tomato base and ricotta and cheese. Unfortunately it didn't hit
the mark at all. Bland and I didn't want to eat much of it. So at least there was enough tasty pasta for the two of us.
Great service though and yes it is very casual dining and perfect to bring kids. The atmosphere is a little uninspiring also.

Approximate cost: $Reasonable prices

If you've done teppanyaki in chapel street you will certainly enjoy this one more. We had a great couple of chefs for our large group of 22 people!
At $68 per head it is very pricey and keep in mind they don't allow you to split bills. We kinda guessed it would be this way so we brought our money ready. What we weren't expecting was that you can't split the drinks either and it is table service only with the charges to be added to the final bill. This makes drinks for 22 people very hard to work out payment in the end so we all had to keep a mental tally of what we owed.
The drinks lady we had was also very attentive and even a little bit 'salesy' with drinks so be prepared to nudged a little by her to keep ordering drinks!
Overall a lot more substantial food served here than the rival in chapel street.

Approximate cost: $68 per head for teppanyaki

I asked if I could have my eyebrows threaded and was told a therapist would be available in about 5 mins.
Therapist was with a client and seemed very nice.
I returned in 5 mins and another therapist was there and now ready to do my eyebrows. I asked this therapist if I could pay by Eftpos. She said something that sounded like "yes if over $20" when I asked her to repeat herself because I didn't quite hear her she snapped back and stated loudly "yes! If its over $35!".
I thought her attitude was extremely rude towards me as a potential customer. So I politely advised her that I was no longer wanting my eyebrows threaded and walked out.
I have my eyebrows usually threaded in the CBD and it is a little inconvenient for me. Exquisite Eyebrows is very handy for me as its local to home. However, I've never been spoken to that way by the salon in the city so I'm definitely not going to change for this kind of service.
The cost is $20. The same as I pay in the CBD. I expect to pay more for Melbourne CBD and so I also think Exquisite Eyebrows is a little over priced. There's another salon in Frankston I know does eyebrow threading an they charge a more reasonable $15. So I'll be checking them out this week.
Sorry Exquisite Eyebrows ... Perhaps your threading might even be exquisite but your service is definitely not.

Approximate cost: $20 A little overpriced for Frankston

The bar itself is amazing. Very lovely interior. We didn't eat here we just came for Saturday night drinks. I wouldn't bother ordering a cocktail as ours just took too long. Drinks are expensive as they are in most bars along here so.
Great venue to enjoy yourself even if it's for a couple of drinks only. Very very stylish and I felt very comfortable being there.

This review is for Frankston RSL Club, Frankston VIC

I've been here several times. As far as RSL clubs go this is a very stylish modern venue. Extensive renovations at the back of the club were completed only a month or so ago and boy have they done well.
This new area is not used for functions and you cannot book a table which I think is great because the other dining area gets booked out very early on Saturday nights.
Meals at this RSL are very tasty, I've been for dinner maybe 7 or 8 times and I don't remember ever being unhappy with my meal, last nights dinner was chicken breast stuffed with Camembert and it was delish.
Prices are a little higher for the food than your typical RSL club but it still reasonable. About roughly $24 for a main. A glass of Rothbury Estate sav blanc was only $4 in the restaurant, very good value.
We've never had bad service. The place is very busy though.
This RSL is the place I take guests visiting from out of town. They normally are a little apprehensive about being taken to an RSL club in Frankston until they arrive and see the establishment and there's always a "ooooh aaaaah it's not what I expected"

Approximate cost: $About $25?

I had only an eye test here last week. I don't wear glasses or contacts as my vision is fine for now, but as far as eye tests go I think they were very thorough. They bulk bill the test also.
I went here for a test 2 years ago also and received the same service then too.

Approximate cost: $Bulk billed eye test

This review is for Gebi's Ski Hire, Falls Creek VIC

verified email - 31 Aug 2012

Overpriced and very slow service. The place only had a couple of people wanting to hire ski gear yet Gebi's couldn't handle this. Very slow service. Took an hour to get gear and the process was debilitating. Over priced and the snowboards were trashed rentals.
Girls at the counter asked if we wanted lift passes and we said no as we already had ours but then she proceeded to charge me for the $106 lift pass I didn't need. Yes we of course got a refund.. But then she did the same thing to our other 2 friends of the group. Pay attention please, lady!
Seriously, these guys are only in business because of their location straight outside the carpark and located at the bottom of a chair lift.
Avoid! Avoid! Avoid!

Approximate cost: $Too much for trashed gear
