I first discovered this pizza chain in Melbourne. The pizza are tasty and well priced and a nice range of pasta are also on offer. Ordered the Quatro Gusti which contains a mix of 4 different types of pizza and the Chicken which was the star of the night. I also love the fact that the pizzas are loaded with cheese.

Sushi here is more expensive than most other places but quality is good. Ordered a special bento ($25) which featured a mix of sushi, tempura, teriyaki, katsu and gyoza. It also came with rice, miso and salad. The katsu and tempura were my favorite. Service was slow and there were lots of people waiting but I guess good food takes time to prepare.

Friends introduced me to this Korean run Japanese takeaway/eatery. Based on friend's recommendation, I ordered the tempura udon. The soup is very tasty and whilst there's not that much udon, there were 2 pieces of karaage chicken, 2 prawns and a takoyaki, all very flavorsome. My friend's beef udon stirfry was also very tasty but she remarked that the portion weren't as big as they used to be. The service was very fast and I would recommend this place for a cheap and tasty meal.

Approximate cost: $8.90 for tempura udon

My hot water system needed replacing and after completing several online forms for quotations, Fallon was one of the first to reply (I didnot even hear from some of the other companies). The quote was I was given was fairly transparent with additional cost clearly listed. The plumber arrived on time and cleaned up after himself. After he left the electrician arrived shortly so it was well co-ordinated.

This corner house is in fact a very cute cafe. I've driven past it many times and not even noticed it. The coffee is well priced and they also serve a range of savories and sweets including gluten free products. I ordered the choc and macadamia slice (small slice for $3) and my friend the pistachio. Both were delicious and mine was loaded with chunks of choc and macadamias. The place has nice ambience and a relaxing atmosphere.

Came here for high tea (bought a groupon $30 for 2 people which seems to be very good value). This place is very simple, plastic tables and chairs reminiscent of any food court. No fancy teapots or cups either, and whilst there was a nice selection of fancy sounding tea, it was essentially a teabag in an average looking mug. So if you want a high tea experience, this is not the place to come. The food was served on a 2 tier platter, the top sweet and bottom savory. The savory ones included mini quiche, a sort of samosa, salmon toast and finger sandwiches. The top tier contained scones (which appeared a bit burnt), cupcakes, macaroons and two other sweet treats. Overall the quality of the food was very average. Even at $15 pp with the groupon I would not consider this great value and it was definitely not a high tea experience.

This Lebanese pizza place is very cozy. There's a woodfire oven behind the counter. I've not really ever tried Lebanese pizza so this was an interesting experience. My friends and I ordered a labneh, lahmeh and kelo khodra. The latter 2 were like thin based pizza and the first was like a wrap. The taste was interesting and not what I was expecting or used to. The pizza were medium sized (4 slices) and the price was very reasonable at

On a cold melbourne day, a nice hot cup of soup is very inviting. And the cute little cauldrons of soup displayed at the front of this shop is a definite draw card. They had various flavors including interesting sounding ones like cauliflower and blue cheese as well as classics like potato and bacon. I went for the soup of the day which is mushroom with truffle oil. Bread is included in each order. Whilst the soup had the distinct flavor of mushroom, I couldn't pick up any truffle. Further the soup was lacking salt and didn't taste very nice overall.
