Had great service by the experienced lady who trimmed my hair however the trainee who cut my daughter's hair was friendly enough but lacked confidence. The prices are about average and as expected. They have discount pensioner days which my mother takes advantage of. Friendly service, courteous phone manner.

Had lunch with my husband there today to use up an online voucher. This is a good ol' Aussie fish 'n chippery run by a completely competent Asian couple who served us quickly with a smile. The place itself could do with a bit of a makeover and a lick of paint - it was rather stuffy inside so we ate outside. Everything is made to order and it all looked fresh. Enjoyed a delicious hamburger wrapped neatly in paper on a cardboard box/plate with a side of perfectly crispy chips. Seems to be the place to go for local walk-ins though there is parking out front.

When the $1 sign out front caught my eye I just had to go in. This is the place to visit if you enjoy 100% cotton, tight stretchy material and fluorescent block colours or hideously busy printed fabrics. Everything is a dirt cheap bargain and yet I couldn't find anything to actually purchase on account of getting frustrated with their clumsy overcrowded clothing racks which made it rather difficult to retrieve or replace items with a handbag on your shoulder. The clothing is more for teenagers though I do wish they'd make shorts that weren't so...well....short! Great place for budget fashion shopping with parking out front and you could also pop into Toyworld next door while you're in the neighbourhood.

Smiggle is not just your average store to buy stationery....it is an ode to quirky graphic art in every colour of the rainbow. Their products twinkle at you like candy and entice you to touch, smell and inspect even closer but don't look too closely or you'll discover the outrageous price tags on most items. This is the place where pre-teens go with their parents whining about how adorable and cute things are and that they must have what such-and-such has got to keep up with the Joneses at school. Well done marketing team, well done. As a fuddy duddy old parent who, in fact, used to BE a graphic artist in her hey-day, I found the products delightful yet expensive while the store was cramped, busy and chaotic. I encourage others to check it out, as you just may find a pencil under $1.00.

Had a fantastic experience here recently and would highly recommend them to anyone getting their eyes tested and going spectacle shopping. The staff were exceptionally professional and knowledgeable about the products and made me feel at ease even when I took ages trying on heaps of frames. With private health cover I got 2 pairs of lovely frames and paid only for the anti-glare coating on the lenses.

This is a global website selling music, dvd's, games, books etc at competitive prices. They have an excellent range to choose from but I've ordered twice from this website and both times there has been an issue with late delivery and I believe it's because the items you order do not come from a central location but rather from multiple locations so shipping can take some time. Great prices, great selections but don't order something if you need it in a hurry.

I've been taking my elderly mother here to get new dentures and you couldn't find a friendlier place! Victor is kind, gentle, patient and very accommodating with appointment times. I would recommend him highly to anyone needing new dentures. There is space for 1 car to park off street otherwise you can park in the side street.

I sent my fussy husband here for a haircut and I was delighted with the results when he came home. More importantly, my husband enjoyed his experience there too....no waiting, just walk straight in and get a decent haircut from a seasoned professional. Men's cuts $18. Will be sending him back again with my son next time. And you can grab a burger or a coffee next door too.

My sister brought me along to the Aquatic Centre here today and I thought it was great! We shared a wide lane to do some laps together (yes, a great workout while wearing flippers!) and it only cost $5 each entry with free undercover parking, free use of kickboards and free locker hire in the change rooms. This indoor pool has 8 lanes and is 25 metres long. Open from 6am weekdays and from 9am weekends. Swim classes and aqua aerobics also on offer. I was very impressed and will return for more laps soon.

Love my new discovery! I'd noticed this place while visiting nearby Aldi one day and I finally decided to try them out today and I was not disappointed at all. Choose any meal from the fridge and they'll heat it up for you for a quick and satisfying lunch. I had a generous serve of lasagne for $5.90 which was, in a word: awesome. Just like Nonna used to make! Fresh, authentic and I can't wait to go back again, probably for a pizza next time. Pre-made panini with various deli fillings also available if you're eating on the run. Coffee and a variety of Italian grocery items adorn the shelves and the staff are super friendly and efficient. Only downside is the parking situation but Aldi's carpark is not too far away. Highly recommended to anyone wanting to try fresh Italian pasta....and I mean, the real deal.

Approximate cost: $6.00
