Went on a Friday night around 7pm for a quick bite. It took a while to get served, as there only appeared to be 4 staff working throughout the venue. They were undermanned, which isn't a reflection on the lads there, more-so a reflection on the company.

The food was maccas, same as you get anywhere in Australia.

I love the ice cream at this place! It just seems to taste better, and the price is also quite appealing too! Honey Malt Crunch, Jamaican Chocolate, and Swiss Caramel Chocolate are my preferred flavours, and I'm never disappointed.

I haven't had the waffles of coffee yet, but after reading the reviews here, I'll have to give them a burl.

Service at the Doncaster store is slow at times, and the set up (where you order vs where you pay) is sometimes confusing for newer punters.

I've been to Gelare at Forest Hill many times, and have always enjoyed the experience. My preferred flavours are Honey Malt Crunch and Swiss Chocolate Caramel, and they NEVER disappoint! Jamaican Chocolate is also excellent.

The prices are quite reasonable in comparison to like-minded competitors, and the quality and flavour is top-notch, in my opinion.

I haven't tried the waffles or coffee, but they do look great, and worth a go sometime soon.

Went to the Saint and Rogue on a Saturday afternoon for their $10 Parma and Pint deal, which is only bookable via their website. For the price, it was an excellent deal, and the parma was good quality. The venue was VERY quiet on the Saturday, so the bartender was happy to have a chat.

The venue itself is very nicely set up, has a lovely classy vibe to it... so not really a footy pub, if that's what you're after.

I'll definitely go back to utilise the $10 deal, it's excellent value.

I've been here previously, and the place has changed significantly since our last visit.

Firstly, the service remains top-notch. No problems there. The staff are great, and if service is important to you, then this place definitely has that aspect well covered.

Two things we noticed about the food however... firstly, when viewing the menu, we noted that the prices had risen since our previous visit. That was frustrating. Then, upon arrival of our meals, we noted that the serving-size has decreased dramatically. In the past, you'd leave here with a full tummy, but I left hungry this time.

The food itself and the service are good, quality wise. It's just the cost and portion-size which was highly disappointing this time around.

We went for breakfast.

Food is good and well-priced. Lunch specials are good, like a Parma and Pot for under $15.

Service struggles at times... they're really nightclub bartenders to be fair, so when ordering food, it takes a bit of extra time to get the order through. Also, a little slow.

I've never been to it as a 'bar' in the evenings. Too many teenie boppers at this place.

My partner had been here before, and really wanted to pay a visit with me as well. So, we went along on a Saturday night, and were able to get a table when we booked an hour beforehand. Great start!

The food it self was just OK, in my opinion. I had a gourmet beef burger, and was disappointed. The pattie had little flavour other than mince meat, and I'm not overly thrilled with shoestring fries. It was all 'as advertised' on the menu, but as I say, it didn't fill me with joy. More-so my choice that probably caused my lack of satisfaction.

Dessert was lovely. My partner had the Apple Crumble (Specials Board), and I had a massive slice of Trio Mousse cake. Slightly pricey, but they were very-much enjoyed.

The service was a stand-out. The young lady who looked after us was more-than attentive, friendly, and had a passion for chocolate (which appeals to my weakness, also). We felt at home as soon as we were seated, thanks to her lovely attitude and care. (We were at Table #2 on 14-Apr-2012, if the owners want to recognise her good work).

Would I go back? Yes, but I'd try something more adventurous than the burger. In a competitive area like Hampton, these guys stand up well.

Cafe Greco in Doncaster ticks more boxes than it doesn't. The Express Lunch is excellent value, although the dinner menu is a bit pricey for my liking. The staff are amiable, and everything is nicely looked after. Views over Melbourne are also lovely.

Secret Recipe is simply awesome! I've been to this particular location a couple of times, and have left with a full and satisfied tummy, but not an empty wallet.

What gets me about this place is that everything tastes so 'fresh'! The portions are generous, and the prices are awesome.

They take particular pride in their cakes, and with good reason. Try then for yourself, particularly the White Choc Macadamia!

As soon as you walk into this family-owner business, you feel at home! The owners are lovely, and even recognised me from a one-night stay I had 12 months earlier!

The rooms are clean and comfortable and have everything you need. The rooms are quiet, I didn't hear a thing all night. And if you opt for breakfast, the big brekky is well worth it!

If I'm ever in Mildura, I'll be happy to stay here again!
