Free to join, a great internet communication tool for keeping in-touch with friends and family. Very addictive!

Facebook is an online social utility that connects people, to keep up with friends, upload photos, share links and videos.

Currently second most popular website globally, Google.com being number 1.

There is a lot you can do, as a starter:
- You 'write' on your wall with what's on your mind, or about what you are currently doing. - You can upload photos and video to share with your friends.
- You find and invite people to join your account as your 'friend'
- You browse a friend's wall to see what they are upto, or see what photos they have uploaded, and perhaps add a comment in reply.
- You can update your profile with your interests, eg. TV shows, movies, shopping interests, etc.

There are many fun games available ( I liked Texas Holdem Poker and Mafia Wars Game ) and most allow you to invite and play with your online facebook friends.

There are also other interesting applications available. One example being 'Family Tree', which is an application that allows you to build your family heritage tree.

Note: Be mindful what you write and what photos you share, as potentially you could have many many friends to share with.

Enjoy and happy facebooking!

A good night out at the casino with friendly staff, pleasant atmosphere and a really good buffet.

One of the best theme parks in Australia. Many thrill rides (the BIG SIX!), family rides and kids rides plus wildlife and other attractions.

I recommend buying your tickets in advance. Arrive at the park just prior to opening to make the most of the day and start with your favourite ride.

Lines can get long in the afternoon during holiday season and purchasing food in the park can hurt the hip pocket.

A must-do when holidaying on the Gold Coast. The animal shows are awesome and the rides are a lot of fun!!! If you are fortunate to spend a second day at the park, I recommend booking an animal adventure.

If you're planning to also visit Movie World and/or Wet'n'Wild then check out pricing for the multi-park passes as often you will save money buying these.

If you absolutely LOVE seafood, if you want the FRESHest and BEST range of seafood available on the Gold Coast, you've got to go to Charis Seafoods. The family has over 30 years in the trade!

Visit the website, because the photographs will speak volumes about this place.

Either buy the fresh seafood to take home, or enjoy a delicious cooked fish and chips meal from the kiosk. Charis Seafoods is adjacent a beautiful park with a children's playground, sitting areas and a beach with safe swimming for all ages.

My first choice of major shopping malls on the Gold Coast. Over 230 stores including Coles, Woolworths, Kmart, Best and Less, Sam's Warehouse, Post Office as well as many outlets for fashion, food and homewares.

There is also the Birch Carroll & Coyle Cinemas with 8 regular cinemas plus 2 gold class cinemas.

Great place on a sunny Sunday morning for breakfast. Extensive menu. I had the Clubbies Big Breakfast which is about 15 bucks, very tasty. Restaurant opens at 8am on weekends. And of course proceeds go towards the surf life saving club which provide an invaluable service on the beach of Southport.

Great location and place for a coffee after a night of shopping.

If you a regular coffee drinker with a partner at the club, I recommend joining the club for a discount on your drink purchases.

This review is for Cape Byron Lighthouse, Byron Bay NSW

A must-do activity in Byron Bay is to walk to the lighthouse, either via Lighthouse Road, or alternatively via Cape Byron Walking Track from Watego Beach, Byron Bay.

The lighthouse is located 3km east of the Byron Bay township and is accessible by foot or car, although being a very popular attraction car parking can be an issue.

There are tours available.
