A love a good falafel roll, and these guys do a nice one along with happy and friendly service. Weekends are usually quiet but lunch on a weekday can mean a queue.

A bit of a Toowoong staple with seating in a covered "garden" area, making it is a pleasant place to chill on a weekend. Yes it is priced like a lot of other places in the area (a bit too pricey for what you get), but still delicious and innovative cuisine along with the cafe staples.

The last time I came here was to relax after playing tennis in Milton.

A nice place for lunch, but breakfast is a little bit overpriced and boring. I mean it is quite nice and filling in the morning, but there is nothing interesting or special to try here for breakfast. Smoothies are good though and of course the generic smashed avocado.

Lunch options are nice, but it located on a busy corner with fairly basic furniture, so it is not really a place to relax.

This is a nice cafe but I do get the impression that they are trying a bit too hard. You know, they have grabbed a collection of the most trendy food items (green smoothies, haloumi, aioli, sour dough burgers etc) and made a menu.

Nice food, but nothing I have tried here really stands out. Price is pretty good and you can order things like burgers and sandwiches as stand alone items (which is great as a takeaway) or as part of a meal (with your sides).

My friend loves this place, though I wasn't too blown away.

A nice little high end cafe in Ashgrove with a fairly classic menu. And yes, it does have a fairly homey feel about it. Just good food, served nicely.

So I have a weakness for burritos and grab one wherever I can. My preference is for a bean burrito. Maybe better than some of the places I won't mention, but not the best burrito in town. Probably the best in the area though.

This review is for Baan Thai Restaurant, Springwood QLD

Fairly generic Thai restaurant. You can spot these when they list Chicken with sauce A, Chicken with sauce B, rather than focusing on dishes (like they do in Thailand).

A little bit too expensive for the quality and style. Definitely could do better.

Nice little Japanese noodle bar in Sunnybank. Basically noodles, rice bowls and Japanese street food, at a great price.

Definitely delicious and certainly cheap.

Approximate cost: $8

While legendary for their fried chicken (Korean style) they also have a lot of other things on the menu. Their korean seafood pancake is pretty good (I have been dissapointed by a lot of the offerings around town).

For a quick meal grab the rice dishes (typical Korean fast food, rice with one dish). The menu helpfully lists the spiciness of each dish.

Good little place for a cheap meal that is much nicer than the generic Chinese restaurants.

If you are in the area and you need a cheap lunch feed, then this is one of the best places to go. Cheap, maybe less than $10 for a feed, with lots of variety. Nothing special about the atmosphere, but love the fact that you have Asian, western, carvery etc options at the one place.
