This is a pleasant place for a quick lunch or snack. Their beef or chicken rolls are very good - plenty of filling and nutritious. Service is ok and the staff are friendly. Coffee is pretty good too. Although it can be busy it isn't really noisy so is a good place to go for a coffee and snack to catch up with a friend or two.

Have been to Littorio's for lunch and dinner a few times and have always had a great meal. The menu although not extensive has enough choice whether you want a snack or a decent feed. Last time there were 6 of us and meals included paella, chicken, steak and salmon. All good and plenty on the plate. Staff are friendly and the service was speedy. Will be back - might try the breakfast next time!

A work event held at Platinum was most enjoyable with tasty food and friendly efficient service. About 10 of us were served a variety of meals - 2 courses - and there were no complaints from anyone. The steaks were cooked according to how we ordered them and accompanying vegetables were fresh and not overdone. Chicken and other dishes were also really enjoyable. Generous serves - plenty for all! We shared desserts - again lots of variety, well presented and delicious! Highly recommended!

This review is for Vue On Halcyon, Chirnside Park VIC

This was our second time at Vue on Halcyon returning because we liked it the first time. However this time it wasn't as good. Four of us went for breakfast on a Sunday morning. Service was slow and we had to wait about 10 minutes to get a menu and another 10 to order. Admittedly it was very busy which means it was very noisy and we had to speak very loudly to have a conversation even tho we were sitting in the corner of the restaurant. We eventually got our food one hour and 10 minutes after we arrived - breakfast at 10:50! We were very hungry! We all had very basic dishes - eggs Benedict or florentine which is just two eggs, a piece of toast with salmon or spinach and some sauce so no idea why it would take so long. My eggs weren't cooked properly and the toast had such a thick crust on it that it was very hard to cut which didn't add to the meal's enjoyment. Apart from the eggs it tasted ok and the others said theirs were ok but not great. One person had mushrooms which was supposed to have goats cheese and dukkah - there was a small amount of cheese but the dukkah was nonexistent. Coffee was good, the view was great and the waiters were friendly. However I don't think we'll be back.

A second visit to this restaurant was as good as the first! Bright, friendly, upmarket - this is a really good restaurant with great food and excellent service. We may not have been very imaginative with our orders - 3 of us had steak and one had beetroot pasta (for a second time having loved it the first time) but the meals were really good. Cooked to perfection - both meat and vegetables with a very more-ish sauce (plates were wiped clean!) - a meal thoroughly enjoyed. The dessert menu has plenty of variety - and all were delicious. Careful attention to presentation added to the experience. A quick look at the breakfast menu whetted our appetite for a return visit for brekkie at a later date.

Four of us met for lunch at this busy cafe. Service was quick and efficient. (Though a smile would have been nice!) The lunch menu had a good range of things ranging in price from $13.90 for a vegetarian pie to around $24.00 for Lamb shanks. There was plenty of variety from pies, pananis, burgers and salads - all good lunch fare. Two of us had a caesar salad and the person who had a garlic allergy was offered a different dressing; another had the smoked salmon croissant with capers & greens and cream cheese. Plenty of filling and very tasty - tho the croissant was toasted to within an inch of its life which made it very flakey. Heating it would have been better perhaps. The panini had a substantial filling and was very nice. We requested a change in each item we ordered and this was done without fuss. Coffee after was not bad either - and the cups were a decent size! Great place for lunch - and we will return.

This review is for Seasons Restaurant Cloudehill Nursery, Olinda VIC

A long weekend and a birthday lunch - a great time to try out a new restaurant! Four of us headed up to Olinda to Seasons Restaurant on the recommendation of the birthday person's sister. Easy to find and with plenty of parking the restaurant is attached to a nursery well worth a visit too. The lunch menu had lots of variety (including 4 gluten free options) and was reasonably priced. It ranged from soup of the day (ham hocks & barley) @ $10.50 to Slow-roasted Pork Belly @$30. The latter dish was one of our choices - and with the savoury cabbage, roast potatoes and a spicy apple sauce was declared to be delicious! Fish of the day - flathead tails with a potato rosti, garden salad and lime aioli was selected by two - one with the gluten free option, the other with a light breadcrumb coating. Again - a tasty and substantial repast. I chose the Hot Pot Pie which was beef & mushrooms - with potato and carrots as well. The pie was lovely. It came in a decent sized pie dish and had lots of filling and yummy gravy. The meat was very tender as were the veg. Of course I looked for chips or wedges (hey, it was a pie!) but the accompanying salad was fine.
The wine menu had a good selection including wines from Mornington, Yarra Ranges and NZ. Several beers and ciders were also available.
Our mains were very filling so we declined dessert and finished with coffee.
Our only complaint was that we were sitting at a table squished in near the cash register, the coffee machine and a short distance from the front door - which when opened provided a gentle breeze of chilly mountain air. I was jostled a couple of times by people paying bills and when the coffee grinder was going it was a bit hard to hear the conversation. Next time we'll ask for a seat near the window - there is a good view and would be a bit quieter.
All in all though we had a good time and will certainly consider a return visit.

Three of us went to the Pearl Oyster for lunch and received great service and delicious food. There were plenty of choices on the menu for "Meat free Monday" - so it was difficult to choose. Our choices were - Field mushrooms soaked in red wine with eggs and other things - this was fantastic and really tasty; An omelette with spinach, chilli and crispy fried spring onions and sour dough toast - a substantial meal that really hit the spot - yum! and spinach and haloumi triangles with a salad consisting of pickled ginger, chillis, lettuce, tomato which all came with a container of harrissa. This was extremely yummy - the triangles had plenty of filling, the harissa was a Goldilocks standard - not too hot and not too 'cold'! with a very tasty salad - even the chillies which I don't usually eat were not too bad! Coffee was also quite good. We sat in the outside area in the plastic tent which, despite the chilly Melbourne weather, was actually warm enough. Our waiter was very friendly and helpful. An extra plus was when we went to pay the bill splitting it up was no problem. A great little place that will get a return visit!

This was a good spot to stop and drop after a long morning in the shops! Cafe style food that was reasonably priced and tasty and plenty of variety. Coffee was not bad either. We shared a New York panini - proscuitto, sauerkraut, pickles plus a few other things to make a up a tasty snack. Been here before - the return visit did not disappoint.
