This might be the only fondue restaurant in Brisbane. Remember back in the 80s when fondues were popular. Okay so we didn't have the fondue as a main, but savoury crepes were excellent. The dessert fondue was okay.

This is a pretty good Thai restaurant. The prices are a little high and the serving sizes area little small (you might need 3 dishes between 2 people or 2 dishes plus 2 soups).

The roast duck is good while the curries are fairly generic.

This place does your basic Chinese food, plus Japanese and Thai noodle dishes. But then they also do your roast chicken, fish and chips if you want that too.

I feel that this place has evolved over the years to create this eclectic menu.

I would have to say it is okay, or at least the noodles that we ordered were okay. Maybe it is because they are bringing lots of different flavours.

This Indian/Mexican/Western Cafe fusion restaurant bring a lot of influences together. When you have tandoori bagels on the menu, you are only interested in finding the best of all worlds.

Nachos with lentils is okay and the bagels are kind of cool. Breakfast ranges for the classic to the spicy. Would love to know the back story of this restaurant.

So as a fine dining restaurant, if you dine at Citron you will of course need to order entree, main and dessert to fill up. So yes, it is going to set you back quite a bit of money.

Is it worth it? Well the food is certainly interesting and with the emphasis on Asian flavours, a little different from many other offerings. The food is not quite as flavour fulled as you would hope as you should be pairing each dish with wine (to enhance the flavour).

They are making the effort but really the food kind of disappoints. The decoration and presentation of dishes is okay, but not that great. The flavour combinations sometimes work and sometimes don't. They also tend to pile up your meal so you have to deconstruct it to start eating (this can be done to great effect, but not the way they were doing it).

If you have the money, give this place a try.

While this place is not that far from where I live, I don't think I would go back. It is basically that generic Thai food that Brisbane restaurants like to serve customers. No real dishes, just let the customer choose their sauce and their meat. This is always a dead give away.

Even so, the result is just some basic Thai food that is not even presented nicely.

This restaurant sort of looks like a Chinese restaurant but has Thai, Malay, Indian and steak dishes on the menu. I would focus on the house specialties which go beyond the generic and Australianised Chinese food. In fact we went in here to try some of the specials.

Let's just say that the seafood combination off the specialities menu was better than the other dishes we ordered. I am curious if they don't have something among the wide variety of dishes that is actually good.

Came in here for the lunch specials. There weren't too bad but not a lot of choice. Sort of generic style Thai food, but those are the specials. They are just meant to be something cheap to fill you up for lunch.

I have a friend who loves Thai food, so we were checking out some Thai restaurants in the Northern Suburbs. Thai Kasinee is a great example. They have specific dishes, which is great.

The dishes we tried were the Volcano Prawn (it is nice to find a good spicy dish in Brisbane), The Tofu and vegetables (also a little spicy) and the Coconut Chicken (not spicy at all).

Afterwards someone told us about their entrees, so that is an excuse for us to go back and try them.

Here is a Thai restaurant that does a wide variety of Thai dishes, not just this meat plus this sauce, they actually have dishes. It was not quite as spicy as I had hoped, but still it would suit most people's tastes.
