I used to go in here for the grab & go options. Yes they are healthy, but there are better and cheaper options elsewhere. Then I went back for the meals. There is a wide selection or you can make up your own by choosing the combinations of healthy ingredients.

Went in here for the smoothies and the share board. Liked the berry smoothie, my friend liked the green smoothie (I think...ewww...but that is me). The share board is a little overrated, but wouldn't mind trying some of the other meals.

This place has a bit of a hipster feel. It is 24 hours, which is how we ended late evening. I feel they are trying a little hard and the service seemed a bit, you know, arrogant. But then it was late, so don't take my word for it.

I am glad there is this nice late night place to enjoy a coffee and snack.

There has been an explosion of Japanese noodle restaurants in Brisbane. These are the cheap snack Japan invented for the purpose of not starving to death at the end of WWII.

So my main disappointment with Taro's is the price. Noodles should be cheap and delicious, not a fancy thing. But still, this is a great restaurant that is a step up above other Japanese noodle places.

Approximate cost: $15

I have been here a few times when the place is often deserted. The staff at okay, but not overly friendly. The food is interesting, and is not meant to be authentic.

I would go here if you are looking for a cheaper place in the valley to fill up on rice dishes on noodles.

This is a great place for something from the grill. I really like their lamb. They also do a great vegetarian gnocchi dish. We went there with some friend's and their kids, and the kids menu is $12 for a dish plus ice cream. So it is a great place for everyone.

A really great place to go for lunch. They do great sandwiches. The pizza is pretty good too. My friend tells me that the breakfast is great and looking at the menu I can see they have some interesting items on offer. After all, they do sandwiches to perfection so if I am ever up early enough I would come back her for breakfast.

I love Turkish food and we were going to South Bank for a while until we found this place. We had bread and dip, a combination platter and a pide.

A little expensive, but still really delicious.

I am not a big fan of Teppanyaki Restaurants, but they can be fun when the chef puts on a show. Not so keen when they throw the food at you (especially after a few sakis).

Anyway, they put on a nice show and didn't throw too much stuff at as (you are meant to catch it). The food is great and you know it is fresh because they are cooking it in front of you.

This review is for Av-a-chat Vietnamese Restaurant, Mitchelton QLD

This place sells good quality Vietnamese food. Yes they have things like noodles which can get in Inala for $6, but the quality matches the price.

It is a small restaurant, but looks quite nice inside. The lemongrass chicken was excellent (and one of my favourite Vietnamese dishes).
