I've been here several times for coffee, juice and milkshakes. The service was pretty quick the times I went there (in the late afternoons), and my son loved the milkshakes. I would say it's quite a child friendly cafe as I always see mothers with babies and kids there. It's good if you have kids because there's lots of seating along the entrance to Dendy cinemas, where there is ample space for children to wander around if they cannot sit still. And plenty of room for prams in the seating along the entrance. Plenty of cakes on offer, though I am yet to try them (they looked mouthwatering though). Highly recommended as a place to go when you're bringing kids, or if you like your space.

This cafe has a great atmosphere, very modern with waterfall windows in the background and some outdoor seating. I've been here twice, once I only had tea, and the other time I had a tomato risotto dish. The food was good, though not great, and the servings were a bit too generous- I only ate half the risotto then I was full. There's lots of pastas, gourmet style burgers (like tandoori chicken), and risottos on offer for around $12-14 as well as lots of breakfast dishes. Overall, a nice place to eat at.

I went here a few times for breakfast and I was really happy with the food. The atmosphere is homely, and the food is as well, which is great. At some cafes you will get fancy thick toast at an expensive price, here you get standard toast, lovely fried eggs and bacon with generous serves, and the price is not too steep. The staff were really friendly, and I didn't have to wait long to get my breakfast. This is a wonderful open cafe with lots of the seating facing the street, and lots inside as well.

This place offers very nice authentic Indonesian food Jakarta style. I highly recommend the oxtail soup, it's full of wonderful flavours, and not something you will encounter very often. The staff are very friendly and efficient. The only downside is the very basic decor, but the food more than compensates for this. Very cheap, value for money prices.

This restaurant is modern and trendy, which makes it stand out from other Vietnamese restaurants on Illawarra Rd, so I gave it a go. I thought it was a fantastic restaurant, offering Vietnamese food of a high standard. I had crispy pancake and eggplant stir fry which was delicious. Highly recommended, way above other nearby restaurants.

I thought that this was a fantastic restaurant. I was expecting a dull vegetarian cuisine, but was pleasantly surprised with what can be done without meat. Really creative dishes are offered with lots of meat substitute dishes. I love the self serve buffet. The ice creams are tasty as well.

I came in here for some drinks with a friend. They do great coffee and my son had a freshly made fruit drink which was refreshing (I had a few sips!). A great place to relax, they have nice big chairs and a fantastic courtyard. The staff are lovely too.

This is a newly opened shop which I give a thumbs up to. You can get yummy dumplings at value for money prices, it was a pleasure to dine here. For lunch I had the Northern style dumplings (10 pieces) for $6.90. Staff were friendly and there is lots of room, unlike some other crowded places on King St.

Atom offers Thai food of a very high standard. I was impressed and found the food to be very delicious and full of wonderful flavours. I recommend the barramundi red curry. It was fantastic. The dining experience was nice too, at night with candlelight and space open to the street. I had a good time, the only thing to note is that this restaurant is more expensive than the other Thai shops on King St.

I love the location of this place, it is tucked away just behind King St, and it has lovely outdoor seating. The food is ok and you can eat quite cheaply here, especially at lunch time. From memory, though, I had something from the lunch special menu for around $5 -6 which was advertised outside the store, and I could see why it was so cheap. The food was ok, but not that tasty, and it was accompanied by a pretty bland salad.
